The Ultimate Playlist!!

Recently I've really been looking for some new tunes to listen to so now I'm just writing down a few of the tracks that I've been listening to the past couple of days. :-)

Some tracks may seem quite out of my taste of music but I still really like them.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this in a previous post but I love listening to Mayday Parade, Secondhand Serenade, All Time Low, Nickelback and Green Day at the moment.

Of course I'm also listening to 5 Seconds of Summer (have you heard that they won the NME Award for the Worst Band?! CAN YOU HEAR ME LAUGHING??) but quite not as much as I used to though. Don't judge me! I still love them ♥

But yeah, let's get into it :P

A Twist In My Story - Secondhand Serenade
Love Me Like You Do - Ellie Goulding
Sugar - Maroon 5
What Are You Waiting For? - Nickelback
Far Away - Nickelback
Lay Me Down - Sam Smith
Smile - Avril Lavigne
human - Christina Perri
I'm Ready - AJR
Oh Love - Green Day
Three Cheers for Five Years - Mayday Parade
Hold Back The River - James Bay
Bruised and Scarred - Mayday Parade
Backseat Serenade - All Time Low
The Reckless and The Brave - All Time Low

I guess these are the songs I listen to the most at the moment. They're all awesome and I just like them :D
I hope you like them, too otherwise I wouldn't have put this list up on here, ha.

Leave some song suggestions in the comments down below!
I would love to know what my readers are listening to :-)

Just leaving you with another great picture right here, duh.

Dear 5 Seconds of Summer...

Tell me one person who doesn't have a favourite band... Only one!
I definitely won't be one of them because - as you can read by the title - my favourite band of all time ( besides All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Nickelback and Secondhand Serenade :P ) is *drumroll*
5 Seconds of Summer.

What a surprise, right?

It all started on a day a couple years ago when I was looking for some new music to listen to. I was just about to leave YouTube when I saw a cover of my favourite song at that time; A Drop In The Ocean by Ron Pope ♥
I was nearly in tears when I saw that someone did a cover of that song!

So I clicked on the video.

And that's when it happened.
Most of my days were spent in front of the screen of my laptop and all I did was watching those videos of a band I would have never thought was going to make it this far.
They were my everything until I eventually stopped watching their videos - I still have no idea why I did that, to be completely honest with you.

About half a year later I heard that they were going on tour with One Direction and I was like "They were my secret - how are they going on tour with 1D now?"
I was proud to call myself a "fan" back then but I was also.. scared?
I don't know why but like I said, they were my little secret ♥ And I really enjoyed it.

Now it's only 90 days until I'll be seeing them in concert!

My first ever concert will be a 5sos one and I'm so freaking excited, I can't even find the right words to describe it.

You know that feeling when you just think you could do anything? Like, literally anything?
Yeah, that's exactly me when I think about 5sos. They make me feel sad and just so endlessly happy at the same time, I always feel weird after watching one of their videos.

I'm sorry for my weirdness - but I'm just a full-time fangirl and damn it's a hard job! :D

All I really want is to meet them and become friends them. I'd be happy til the day that I die; I'm serious.
I may sound childish or naive but I'm not giving up just yet :P
Yes, these are the 100% honest thoughts of a fangirl; but you know, I'm not crazy. :-)
I just like to say what I think...
And right now I think that 5 Seconds of Summer are f*cking amazing and I'm just so proud of them ♥

Dear 5 Seconds of Summer,
you saved my life and I can't thank you enough for that.
I learned to never give up on myself and my dreams. Sometimes I still doubt that anything is going to happen the way that I'd like it to but then I listen to one of your songs and those doubts are just.. gone.
I love you.
That's the only thing I know for sure

Makeup Idea for Valentine's Day ♥

Hello lovelies! ♥
Hope you're all okay :-)

In today's post I'll be showing you one single make up idea/inspiration that you can either wear for a date with your special valentine or on a night out with your best friends.
I don't know why I chose these kinda dark colours but I think it looks quite nice - especially with brown eyes hehe

So first of all I did my normal everyday makeup routine, leaving out the mascara.

I used the Sleek I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in "Au Natural" and applied the colour "Taupe" all over my eyelid with a simple applicator brush.

After that I applied the colour "Regal" to the outer corners of my eye, blending it in with an eyeshadow blender :-)

With a smaller brush I applied "Nougat" to the inner corners of my eye and underneath my brow bone just to give it a little more dimension and some highlights.
To finish the eye make up I applied the colour "Noir" with a very fine eyeliner brush and winged it out.

You can also apply some lip gloss or lip stick if you'd like.

And that was it! :P
I'm really really sorry for not putting any photos of how I've done all of the steps above but either it's my camera that won't focus correctly or I'm just too dumb to take some good ones.
Please excuse that :-(
I hope to be writing posts with more photos in them soon!

Is there anything you'd like me to write a post about? Or maybe we can write one together!

I'm currently looking for some new things to start on this blog so if you're interested email me or write me a direct message on twitter, facebook etc. :-)

Have a lovely day ♥

The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes aka PointlessBlog

Hello lovelies! ♥
I hope you're all doing fine these days :-)

Today I'll be writing some words about Alfie Deyes (aka PointlessBlog) 'The Pointless Book'.

The Pointless Book

The book has 192 pages in total which you can scribble, write, paint, colour, draw and glue on pointless stuff.
That's why it's called The Pointless Book; pff, I'm such a genius *sarcastic eye roll*

Every page is different and either wants you to stick a picture of you there or draw something there.

It's really funny and there are lots of cool things to do in this book :-)

Of course I won't post any pictures of the insides because you should definitely buy it yourself and start filling it.
It really is worth the money.
£8.99 in the UK
11,30 € in Germany (

Alfie got the chance to publish his book with Blink Publishing and I believe that there is already a second book on it's way. :P

There is also an app to this book which you can download in the Google PlayStore or the AppStore. The app offers exclusive pictures, videos and messages from Alfie for the readers of his very first own book.

I think that's pretty sweet, isn't it? :-)

Since everyone starts this book on a random page there is nothing more to write about it.

I started mine a few days ago and I don't even remember which page I did first.

Tell me if this review helped you and if you bought yourself a pointless book!

I'd really like to know where you started and how you think about it.

Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss

Hello lovelies! ♥
Today's post is a little out of my normal blogging routine since it's Thursday but oh well.
I haven't been posting anything in quite a while but now I've got some extra time to do so :-)

About a week before my birthday I went back on and bought two of Tanya Burr's new lip glosses.

I got them in the colours 'Chic' and 'I Found Nemo' (from left to right).

I've read some quite good reviews about these so I thought why not try them myself?

After a week of waiting they finally came with the mail.

When I opened the parcel I was immediately amazed by the colours of these products. They're just so bright!

Of course I applied one of them right away, which was 'I Found Nemo' I believe and even my mum said it is a gorgeous colour.
And when my mum says something is gorgeous, it really is! haha :P

The texture of both of the lip glosses is smooth and soft. Normally when I apply lip products my lips start burning or itching; that's why I rarely wear any of that.

But after all those amazing reviews about Tanya's glosses I gave it a try and to my surprise my lips neither started itching nor burning.

They feel soft and the colour lasts for a very long time. The photo above shows both colours; 'Chic' on the left, 'I Found Nemo' on the right :-)

I think the packaging is so cute as well. Especially because on top of both of them are little drawn hearts which I find just adorable.

Personally I think that these are the best lip glosses I've tried so far.

They're easy to apply, make my lips smooth and soft, the colours are beautiful and the price is right as well (

I'm not sure if this is important to mention but the 'Chic' one is an exclusive collection by eye candy

So this was my review on two of Tanys Burr's lip glosses :-)
I hope you enjoyed reading and leave some comments ♥
