While writing this I thought a lot about how to arrange the layout of my blog, the look of my posts and so on. I haven't come to a conclusion that matches the ideas I normally would like all of this to look like but for now it just has to stay the way it is at the moment.
However, I'm currently trying to adjust all of my social media - including my blog. So I hope to be a little more up to date and way more present on twitter, instagram, etc.
Back to topic now though.
I've come back to the good old beauty product review for this Monday. Turns out that these have been my favourite to write ever since I started writing in general.
Also, I'm really trying to improve my English vocabulary as I only seem to use standard language in all blog posts so far and it bothers me to a point where I think that I really need to learn more and get more into reading again.
It's all about improving skills today as well, isn't it?
But for now, I want to talk about the actual product of today: The Figs & Rouge Coco Rose Lip Balm. I received this lovely product in my first Glossybox and I instantly fell in love!
Usually - when it comes to choosing a lip balm - I tend to go back to my beloved and trusty friend: Carmex.
However, when I tried the Figs & Rouge one for the first time I immediately felt my lips softening and it didn't irritate them as much as other lip balms do.
I do tend to have quite sensitive lips and that's why I always use a lip balm without a fragrance or anything else that might irritate them. Little fact about me: I can't even wear lip stick without having my lips swollen and itchy; not a good thing when you're a beauty blogger...
On to the product itself:
I received the full sized version (12.5 ml) and I think it normally costs about 7€ at feelunique (love that website!!). It adds a little bit of colour to my lips as well yet it does it's job of a lip balm and moistures them very well.
It has quite a creamy texture and my lips always look a little weird right after applying but when I spread it a little more then it actually lookes really nice.
Like I previously said I'd never thought I would go for a lip balm like this - sorry Carmex... It does what it says and I really like using it. Also, it found its right place in my schoolbag so I always know where it is when I need it.
Because, let's be honest: We all have those days when our lips feel slightly chapped and dry yet we don't have a lip balm with us so we just try to keep them wet by constantly licking them, which only makes it worse.
And once again I realised that I'm one hell of an expert when it comes to explaining things... Excuse my language though.
What I also like about the Figs & Rouge Coco Rose Lip Balm is that it's 100% natural. I've never owned a completely natural product before and I was pleasantly surprised by it!
There are several other Figs & Rouge Lip Balms.
Have you tried them out yet? If so, which one was/is your favourite?
Let me know in the comments down below! :-)
I hope you all have a great week ahead of you! ♥
