Hello lovelies! ♥
I thought it's about time for another beauty wishlist. This time, it's all high-end products and I probably won't buy any of them anytime soon because I'm broke... Simple as that.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette
I've been keeping an eye on this little makeup gem for quite some time now and I can't get over how gorgeous all those three shades are! I mean, look at it! I instantly fell in love with it.
Jo Malone London Peony & Blush Suede Cologne
I have no idea if Jo Malone is labelled as high-end - which it probably is, but yeah - but I just really want to try and smell this. I've heard soo many things about the scents by Jo Malone and again, I fell in love only by just reading reviews about them.
Is that weird?
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows
The first time I saw them was in some random video on YouTube a couple of days ago, I think and first I didn't really think that I'd like them. But after watching that video, I decided to have a closer look at them and gosh, they're gorgeous!
When there's a makeup item that I'd spend more money on than usual, then it's something for my eyes - such as mascara and eyeshadow - and I'm almost 100% sure that these are definitely worth the money!
Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol. 2
Well, what can I say about these? Zoeva is such an amazing brand and I'm saying that without ever having tried one of their products! I seriously think about buying these after my birthday next year or something... Which is still 179 days to go but oh well!
And yes, I do have a countdown app on my phone to see how many days are left until I turn 18...
By Terry Ombre Blackstar Melting Eyeshadow
These eyeshadows have the most gorgeous colour I have ever seen, hands down. I saw these in a video Zoella uploaded a couple of weeks ago and in that video she was wearing the golden colour, I think. And oh wow, it looked absolutely stunning! I think I've never ever raved about eyeshadows as much as I did after seeing them for the first time!
And here you are, at the end of today's post already. I hope you enjoyed reading, but before you go, tell me, what are your high-end beauty products that you've really been wanting recently? I'd love to know! ♥
P.S. I do noticed that I used the word 'gorgeous' quite often in this post. Sorry about that! x

As you may or may not have noticed over the past couple of days, I went a little crazy with changing several things on my blog and my social media sites. I thought it was time for something new, something more minimalistic. That's what I wanted to go for and which I hope is now a good new look for my blog!
First of all I tried - yes, tried - to buy a domain on a webhosting site, which turned out to be a waste of time and effort. They didn't support DNS editing, but you need exactly that when you want to refer the new wedaddress to the old one. So I tried to switch the provider but keep the domain and gladly it worked - I think.
I've received plenty of emails saying that it's in progress and I hope that I can use the new link to my blog soon - www.liliesbeauty.com :-) The old one will still bring you to my blog then though!
Anyways, after that was done - more or less - I thought about a colour scheme or a new overall look in general. I tried some new colours but I didn't like most of them.
After experimenting for a good couple hours, the idea of keeping it minimalistic and simple popped up. New header, fonts, only one colour to add a little something, and a new layout.
And I must say that I'm really happy with how it turned out! *heart eyes emoji*
Some things didn't work as planned though. Nothing bad but I'm still trying to make it work with my template. If any of you know, though, how to make social media icons and single words (navigation bar page names at the top) fade in or out when you hover over them with the cursor of your mouse, then please leave a comment!
I'm still kind of frustrated that it didn't work, especially after the billions of times I tried to change the HTML or CSS :-(
My schedule will stay the same, as well as the categories - mainly beauty, but also lifestyle and fashion - and everything else.
I still hope that I can improve my writing and my blogging in general and I'd love to hear some feedback! :-)
What do you think about the new look? Do you like it better than the old one?
Let me know in the comments down below!
As for now, I'm leaving you here with a 'have a great week!' and make sure to come back on Friday! ♥

I'm going to start this by saying that the idea to today's post popped into my mind when I was reading All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven the other day and I have no clue, though, why I thought about the things you could do in your summer holidays whilst reading!
My summer holidays only started yesterday which means that I got full six weeks - and some more days - to do whatever I want, whenever I want.
Being free for such a great amount of time is pretty awesome, isn't it?
I can actually focus on my blog a little more and I'm so excited for what's to come this 'summer' - clearly you can't really label this season as summer because, it's just not!
And again, I'm so off topic from the actual purpose of this post... Sorry!
But let's get into it now, shall we?
The listed things below mostly contain things to do at home - if there happens to be the possibility of you staying home instead of going on a holiday somewhere.
1. Have a good night's rest each day for a couple of days
2. Make a list of things you want to do in your free time *because you know I like to be organised, ha*
3. Make a Boots, feelunique, Forever21, etc. order *then you can be excited for the things you've ordered and write a post about them*
4. Plan and record / write some future videos / posts
5. Go camping, swimming, rowing, diving
6. Go away on a sponatenous three to four days trip out of the country
7. Tidy out your wardrobe and donate the things you don't want / need anymore
8. Make a summer playlist on your phone / iPod (and share it with your friends / online)
9. Clean your makeup collection and storage and make it look nice and neat again
10. Throw a nice summer get-together with your friends and / or family *our typical summer activity to do*
11. Pamper and treat yourself with some 'me time'
12. Have a film marathon with your favourite films
13. Read some of the books you've wanted to read for a long time *I'm already so into this point*
14. Visit a town or a place in your country that you've never been to before
15. Learn a complete new skill (dancing, playing the guitar or the piano, surfing, etc.)
16. Write a book or some short stories *that's what I used to do during holidays*
17. Watch YouTube videos *because what else is better than sitting in front of your laptop, watching videos for who knows how long?*
18. Edit your blog and give it a little makeover *which I will be doing in the next few weeks, I think*
19. Make a scrapbook for the summer holidays and write down the things you've done during that time
20. Be sad that holidays are over already and moan about how you hate school until your parents eventually get annoyed with you and hope for the next holidays so you're all happy again ...
Thank you very much for reading and have a lovely weekend! ♥

I've been shopping recently (what a surprise, right?) and I thought I would share the best purchase I've made so far!
In my Glossybox of May I received a product sample of the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Minimizer and of course I'd already heard loads about it; most of the reviews were negative though.
But after trying the sample I was very surprised by the effect it had on my skin. I don't even need a moisturiser before applying my makeup anymore! And this stuff makes my skin sooooo soft, it's unbelievable!!
On to some basics now though. I bought the full size Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Minimizer (22ml) at Müller for 7.95€. Which I think is a fairly good price due to other recommendations from bloggers who do compare this to the Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer!
The product itself is transparent and has quite a creamy texture which makes it very nice to apply to your face.
I don't only apply it to my cheeks though, where there are obviously the most visible pores on my face but also on my nose, chin and forehead, simply because it makes it so much easier to apply my foundation afterwards.
I can really recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good but affordable makeup base / face primer!
Like I said, I was really surprised by this! :-)
Have you tried this yet? And if so, how do you find the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Minimizer?

Hello lovelies! ♥
As I finally got my new posting schedule fixed and the not-so-new days to post are now Monday and Friday, both at 4 PM (GMT+2), I thought I'd just share my story about dealing with anxiety and panic. So sit back down with something to drink and some snacks and let's get into it, shall we?
I know lots of young - and older people - are suffering from it and for me, when I first heard about it, it was the worst and scariest thing ever. There were days where I just didn't know how to handle another anxiety or panic attack. Between both those kinds of 'attacks', there are some differences and similarities, which I didn't know about until my therapist told me about it.
An anxiety attack is caused by a particular situation or factor that causes stress or fear whatsoever. Meanwhile you can feel fearful, apprehensive and your heart starts racing. However, when the factor causing the attack goes away, so does anxiety.
A panic attack is caused by nothing in particular. In most cases it comes very unexpectedly and in situations where you wouldn't feel stressed or scared. But it doesn't just go as fast as it comes.
My therapist - which I haven't seen in two years (!) - first told me that the mental illness I have is kind of a mixture of both of the mentioned ones above. Sometimes I get really really anxious which in the end causes an anxiety attack yet there are times where I'm just casually lying in bed and suddenly my legs start shaking and I feel as if I'm about to die or something - panic attack.
I don't really know how and why I came up with the things I'm currently trying to improve my mental health with but I just know that they work best for me. And I'm not in need to go to the therapist twice a week - like I used to two years ago. I still get panic and anxiety attacks - some are worse, some are not that bad - but now I know how to deal with them.
1. I always drink a cup of tea before going to bed. Like, every night I would brew me a cup of whatever tea we have and it makes me sleep a lot better.
2. Whenever I'm having another attack I try my best to avoid thinking about it. When it first started I'd always really concentrate on what was happening but in the end it only got worse. So I do whatever it takes to just distract myself from what is happening with my body - because I exactly know what it really is and that it's nothing I need to be scared of.
3. Every morning when I look in the mirror I tell myself that, if I get another attack that day I won't die. It's not lethal for me - or anyone else - and it doesn't cause any harm.
4. The first ever panic/anxiety attack I had was at the age of 13. I was lying in bed at night and suddenly I felt as if that was my last time I'd gone to bed. Paramedics brought me to hospital because it could've been something worse but it really wasn't.
I was glad on the one hand, but on the other I wondered why I'd gotten a mental illness all of a sudden. But then I remembered some days when I was even younger. I had had the exact same symptoms that only got more noticable over the years and it scared me. It scared me alot. What I'm really trying to say is - and that is just the point of number 4 - that you need to stop looking back at the bad times.
My worst time has been the time in school from 7th to 8th grade (first and second form). It was the most horrific time I've yet experienced but now I do know that it's over. I've become a lot more confident since then and my self-esteem level is rising every day because I can look at myself proudly.
Right now I'm proud of who I've become although there are days where I just want to curl up in bed and forget the world around me because I feel depressed or sad. It never goes away; it'll always be there. The anxiety and the panic have become a part of my life and I can positively live with it.
Also, I've realised that helping others who suffer from the exact same thing is the most important step to do when trying to deal with it. You know what they're going through and you can be one of the people helping them get through this. I hope I can work with charities supporting people with mental illnesses some day...
It has become kind of a dream of mine to do so and I'll do anything that I can to make it come true.
Because I want to help people. ♥
Are you suffering from anxiety or panic or both?
Message me if you need/want to talk about it! ♥ ♥ ♥

Two weeks ago I blogged about my new favourite scent for summer - which you can find here. I also said that I was sure about buying another fragrance of that brand and guess what I did?
I did exactly that, ha.
It's this very gorgeous (Can a perfume smell gorgeous? I don't even know...) and fruity scent that's made me buy it in the first place. However, this one is the 30ml version and cost me about 2.49€ at Rossmann. I also picked up a 50ml version of the It's Pool Time EDP because it just smells soo good!!
Again, there is something about the scent of this that makes it even more refreshing to wear on really warm days.
Those of you living in Europe can surely feel the struggle these days with the super hot temepartures - right now there are about 30°C in my room?!?!
I've probably gotten up, like, three or four times while writing this just to spritz a little bit of this perfume onto my neck and all over my torso in general because it's refreshing and smells amazing as well.
Also, this does remind me of something that I've smelled before yet I can't quite make out what it is; again. I've had this struggle with the It's Pool Time one when I purchased it and now it's the same!!
This fragrance smells really fresh and almost like a mixture of lemons, limes, oranges and vanilla. And normally I hate vanilla scented things - like candles, deodorants, etc. But with this, it's just totally different!
And because I just love all of my perfumes so much at the moment, I decided to switch between them every other day; so let's say on Monday I went for this one, and on Tuesday I went for the other one, and so on.
I also really feel like a nicely scented fragrance can't be missed on a nice (not too hot!) summer day and lately it's just what completes my whole look and I feel a lot more comfortable when wearing a fragrance rather than just only using a deodorant whatsoever.
I guess there's a Perfume Wishlist coming your way soon, whatcha' think? Because I've been finding soooo many perfumes lately that I want to try soooo badly... And the 'o' in these last paragraphs are really getting ooooout of hand haha #SorryNotSorry
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this and thank you for reading!

Hello lovelies! ♥
I haven't written a book review in quite a while, so I though today should be about the - hands down - greatest book I've ever read:
The Fault In Our Stars
As you all probably know what this book (and the film) is about I'm just going to summarise the story in a few sentences.
So there's a girl name Hazel Grace Lancaster who suffers from thyroid cancer that has spread to her lungs - that's why she carries a portable oxygen tank with her. At a meeting of a cancer patients' support group, Hazel gets to know Augustus Waters who was suffering from osteosarcoma and who came along with a friend of his - Issac, which had a tumour in one eye, to which then he has the other one to be taken out as well.
Hazel, Augustus and Isaac eventually become really good friends and hang out a lot together.
Part of every novel:
The ever so romantic and lovely couple.
Sooner or later, Augustus and Hazel develop feelings for each other, just when Augustus' illness comes back. He gets incurably ill and... dies.
Not a big shocker, I believe...
Hazel is making big improvements with her health whilst her friend Augustus is slowly but surely dying.
And exactly that fact has made it quite emotional for me to read this book. I cried, I laughed, I frowned, I was beyond confused yet happy. It had left me in a mix of several emotions and at the end of it, I seriously just wanted to go back to the first page and read it again.
I've always been a bookworm and I've read many, many books so far but this one has been - and still is - my most favourite one; ever!
Nonetheless, I think I'm going to order some Nicholas Sparks books on Amazon in the next couple of days since I'm going on holiday in August and I definitely need some good reads for the trip down to Austria, ha.
Or maybe you can recommend a book?
I usually read, like, everything really haha
Let me know, which book has been your favourite, in the comments down below!
I hope you have a great week ahead of you!

Hello lovelies! ♥
It's Friday already - yaaay!!
This week I thought I'd just go back to writing three beauty product related posts again. Like I previously mentioned, I think that these are the most fun to write and I just love taking photos for these. Again, I've tried my best with the photos here... I hope you can tell.
You might have read some posts where I mentioned this product before such as my Berlin Shopping Haul or my May Beauty Favourites.
I've bought this contour kit when I was in Berlin last month and it cost me about 5€ which is a fairly good price for such an amazing product!
It has a bronzer on the left, a highlighter in the middle and a gorgeous blusher on the right.
Before owning this I was never the type of girl to contour my face, at all. However, after I spent those 5€ - and some more... - I was more than happy that I finally found such a beauty item.
Because I had been looking for a 'starter' contour kit like this for quite some time, I had to try it out as soon as I got home again.
Applying it with my BH Cosmetics brushes it was on my face in no time. And I might add that it was surprisingly easy and very nice to apply. I'd never thought that I can actually do this... haha
All three of these 'powders' - let's just call them that - are really lightweight yet really pigmented which makes them look quite natural after applying; huge plus from me here!
Sadly, this kit isn't available in stores anymore - I believe - as it was a limited edition but I'm sure you can still order it online somewhere.
Here you are, already at the end of this weeks' last post... I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for reading! ♥
Hope to see you all next week again though!
Wednesday, 1 July 2015
I really REALLY tried my best and put some extra work into my photos this time. And I must say that I'm pretty proud of myself and I like how it turned out.
But for today it isn't going to be about photos whatsoever. It's going to be about the makeup item that I adore the most:
Whenever I'm too lazy to do my normal makeup routine I just put on some concealer, do my brows and - last but not least - coat my lashes with my Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.
However, I do use two other mascaras as well sometimes...
Maybelline Lash Sensational (12€)
When this first came out I thought that literally every beauty blogger had one of these! So I had to go get one myself of course! And when I did exactly that - and spend another 12€ - the first thing that I noticed immediately was the packaging. It's this lovely light pink metallic colour with only the black font on it and it looks really gorgeous. It's the cutest packaging for a mascara I've seen - so far!
Catrice Cosmetics Ultimate Lash Multimizer (5€)
I still believe that this mascara was one of the first ones I've ever started using when I reached the age of showing interest in makeup. Along with some other Maybelline mascara I've adored this one to a point where I would only just buy it again whenever I ran out of it. Also, it adds an enormous amount of volume to my lashes and makes them look very thick! Which I personally love because it makes my brown eyes really stand out.
Benefit Roller Lash (25€)
I don't need to delve back into that topic, do I?
It's the most favourite mascara that has ever had a place in my yet still small makeup collection. I've loved other ones as well but not quite as much as I love this one. I'm actually kind of worried that I might run out soon... *insert sad emoji here*
All of the mascaras mentioned above are amazing. They add volume and thickness to my lashes yet they lengthen them as well and I can only recommend them if you're looking for an all in all great mascara!
As you can tell - and as I've only just noticed myself - the products are all ranked in a different price range, from low to high, obviously. So I'm sure there's a product for everyone!
I can't believe this is the end of the post already... Today was actually the most fun to write and I still can't get over the fact that I made it into some pretty decent photography this time.
Thank you all for reading! ♥
