Primark Candles

As it is Autumn and now almooost Winter, I'm more in love with candles than in every other season - I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about!
Candles make a room a lot more cosy and lovely and there rarely is a day where I don't burn one of my dozen stored candles; which are all quite autumnal and Christmassy scented, of course!

I went into the Home section in Primark for the first time this week and I must say that it wasn't that big but they had some pretty amazing stuff nevertheless! In the end, I decided to buy these lovely two gems:

They're both white candles, one in a silver and one in a rose gold jar, which is obviously my favourite shade/colour for this time of year!
However, I do like the scent of the silver one more, which is Frangipani & Peach. Now, I know that Frangipani (or Plumera) is a flower but I had absolutely no idea what that was when I bought this candle! I'm so glad I did, though! The scent of peaches and Plumera all in one little candle is amazing and I just love it!

White Flowers is the scent of the second one, which actually smells a lot more like clean laundry with a hint of something sweet, in my opinion; it's very difficult to describe, though! Nevertheless, it's a really nice scent but not very Christmassy! The silver one is not a Christmas candle either but they still smell so nice and I would highly recommend the Primark candles as they're pretty amazing!

Both of these were 2€ each and I think that's quite a fair price for such great candles. I have to admit that I did buy these exact two because of the colours the jars have but of course I smelled them before buying them and that's when I knew that I had to have these! Also, they fit in my room perfectly and they look really nice with some more silver and rose gold decorations!

What are your favourite scents in candles for Autumn and Winter?

La ville de l'amour, c'est Paris!

My week in Paris was so cool! And of course I wanted to share some of my photos with you all :-) These are the ones that I liked the most, and to be honest, I didn't take as many as I thought I would!

We had a pretty good time, although Paris really isn't the most beautiful city, in my opinion. I was also kind of disappointed when I saw our hotel but that's a whole other story that I don't want to mention in here because this post is about the things that we saw and that I actually took some decent photos of!The first four photos are - obviously - the Eiffel Tower, the Triumphal Arch and Notre Dame! All three of these sights were very interesting to see in real life rather than just on TV or in books. I didn't really have a favourite sight, though, we didn't see that many... But it was still a great experience!

On our first day after the arrival, we headed up the Eiffel Tower to the second platform and for someone who's afraid of heights and elevators it was the worst thing - me included! But the view made up for that - plus, we walked back down; about 670 steps, I think!

This photo right here shows the dome of the Galeries Lafayette, which was basically the only reason why we went in there - the prices are insane!
But now onto the most exciting and fun part of the whole enitre week: DISNEYLAND! It was a dream come true and I just cried three or four times because it was soo amazing and I just felt really grateful. We spent - believe it or not - ten hours in there and didn't even see half of the attractions! Of course we saw everything that we had planned to see before we went in there... :-)

A little selfie in front of the Disney CastleAfter taking this phoro I nearly cried because we got the chance to see the big parade at half past six in the evening and I just felt like a little girl again! Sadly, I don't have any photos of that because I was enjoying the moment without taking loads of photos, so bare with me and my love for Disney... haha

Also, I still can't get over how stunningly the whole park was decorated! It still is Halloween season in there and there were pumpkins and ghosts everywhere! Again, at night it was a lot more beautiful and I swear, my heart just melted every time I looked around the park... You could say that I was an emotional wreck after leaving the park because we got to see the great firework as well!
The whole trip itself was okay, but the day in Disneyland just blew me away because it was the highlight of the whole week! I wish I could go back anytime soon..... :-(
I don't like the city of Paris that much, though, it has some pretty cool sights but that's it already. I wouldn't say no to another couple of days there, though! :-)
Have you ever been to Paris?

Haircare Favourites

I have been using both of these hair products for about two weeks now and I can't tell you how much I adore them!

Both are by the brand Maple Holistics! They produce and sell organic and natural beauty products and these are just two of them!

The first one would have to be the argan special formula shampoo*, which is obviously a shampoo, duh, but it is one that makes my hair incredibly soft and voluminous! Plus, it smells really really nice and washing my hair has become a lot more interesting ever since I started using this! It smells of vanilla and honey and it kind of relaxes me as well...? Weird for a shampoo, isn't it?! But it's great!

Secondly, there is the matching silk18 conditioner*, which adds a nice shine to my hair whenever I'm using it, though, every time I do, my hair isn't as voluminous as when I'm using the shampoo on its own! I don't even think that it's because of the conditioner, it's just my hair!
*My mum used these two or three times together and her hair looks fabulous!*
But again, this conditioner smells amazing and I do love to wash my hair with it although it looks really flat but shiny afterwards!

What are your current haircare favourites? I'd love to know!

Skincare Addition

When this post is being published, I'm already on my way to Paris! Today is the first day of my week in France and I couldn't have been more excited, even while writing this!

But in today's post I will show you the newest addition to my skincare routine - I already blogged about that a few months ago and it hasn't really changed ever since!
It's the Rival de Loop Green Tea Night Cream for normal and combination skin and it costs about 5€! I do know, though, that it's a German drugstore brand but I still wanted to talk about it as it's one of my new favourites!

After removing my makeup and cleansing my face with the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, I apply a thin layer of this cream all over my face. It dries really quickly and doesn't leave my skin greasy or oily!
Another huge plus is that it makes my skin unbelievable soft! Even in the morning my skin feels as soft as the night before; it's amazing!

I also think that the small beads of cream look really cute but they do feel a little weird when applying this because they are kind of embedded into a transparent gel-like cream., if that makes sense!
I just now realised how hard it is to describe a cream like this...

Have you added something to skincare routine recently?

Contouring Favourites

There are tons and tons of contouring products out there, so I thought I 2hould show you the two products that I always use, when it comes to highlighter, bronzer and contour!
Both of these items are by Catrice Cosmetics - my beloved drugstore makeup brand!

I do have to say that I am definitely not an expert on this one but I still like to bronze up and highlight my face every now and then!
And when I got a little extra time, I even try to contour my face to make it look a little more defined...

Catrice Cosmetics Highlighting Powder 010 Stardust
I've mentioned this in my September Beauty Favourites post last week and I still use it on a daily basis, duh! It's a very nice highlighter shade that looks lovely when applied on the cheekbones!

Catrice Cosmetics Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder Medium Skin 030 Medium Bronze
It took me a really long time to find a matt bronzer that would actually suit my skin tone! As I am quite pale and my skin tends to have a lot of break-outs, especially during this time of the year, I am always a little more careful when it comes to powders, concealers and foundations!
However, using this bronzer has freshened up my daily makeup routine and I love using it! It's really easy to apply and to blend - perfect for a contouring and bronzing newbie like me!

Lipstick Love

Last week, a little parcel found its way to my doorstep and I was more than happy when I had a first look at the lovely items that were inside!

Now, three more lipsticks* and a lipliner* are new to my makeup collection! These beauties were sent to me from the amazing Born Pretty Store! They offer a huge range of inexpensive beauty products and these, among others, are just some of their items.

I got the shades 101, 105 and 107. The last two of the colours, though, might seem a little crazy but they actually look really lovely when applied - the orange one is definitely my Halloween go-to this year!

This might sound really weird as well, but these lipsticks just have a really decent scent to them as well! Not as nice as my Rimmel Long Lasting one, though...... By the way, the lipliner I received matches that shade perfectly! It is a little hard to remove as it is waterproof but it's still great!

Nevertheless, they're very easy to apply and nice to wear throughout the whole day. The texture is really smooth and it doesn't dry out my lips as much as other lipsticks do! I really do enjoy applying and wearing them!

There is also the chance for you to get 10% off selected items with the coupon code MEEH10! :-)

Have you ever tried anything from the Born Pretty Store?

Rimmel Long Lasting Lipstick

Hello lovelies! ♥
It's time for yet another post about a favourite of mine and this time it's the Rimmel Long Lasting Lipstick in the shade 128 Starry Eyed!
I ordered this gem on for about 6€ and I've loved it from the first time I applied it!

It's a really gorgeous berry-toned shade that also feels great on the lips! With it's creamy texture and easy application it's amazing for lipstick-newbies like me! :-)
This one also smells heavenly, which sounds weird, but it's just the truth!
Weird but true...

Here you have a decent photo of me, wearing my beloved lipstick like there's no tomorrow! Not the best photo, I must admit, but I wanted to show you all what it looks like applied! So bare with me please hahah

Have you got any lipsticks that you'd recommend?

September Beauty Favourites

Hello everyone!
I'm now back from my little break and it seems like everything is back to normal again! :-)
Today, I'm going to be showing you my beauty favourites I've grown to love during the month of September! There are, indeed, some products that I have already reviewed and talked about on my blog and I will try not to go into too much detail on those!

As always, I'm going to start from the very top of the photo:

Catrice Cosmetics Highlighting Powder 010 Stardust
Since I had used up the highlighter in my Essence Gorgeous Glow Face Palette pretty fast, I was looking for a highlighter that could make my cheeks look glowy and fresh, just like that one! One day I went into the drugstore and found this beauty! It's such a lovely makeup item that I use on a daily basis!

Ellen Betrix Loose Powder 1 Transparent Natural
It's the same with this one: I had used up my transparent Catrice face powder so I was looking for a new one. Et voilĂ ! Max Factor had this really amazing powder - which also costs about 10€! - and I love it!

Essence Long Lasting Lipstick Nude 03 Come Naturally
A great drugstore lipstick with a creamy texture that just feels very lovely on the lips! The colour is also very suitable for an everyday look, in my opinion!

W7 Eyeshadow Palette In The Nude
This palette has been a beloved favourite of mine ever since I ordered it on Amazon, though, recently I 'rediscovered' it and I just love it as much as before! Especially the sixth colour in the palette if you go from the bottom to the top on the photo above! It's gorgeous!

Maybelline Colorshow Eyeshadow 23 Copper Fizz
Staying with the eyeshadows, I also recently just purchased this item and it's actually a single eyeshadow in the same shade as the one in the W7 palette I talked about! It creates a lovely autumnal makeup look and it does look really nice on my eyes, if I may say so myself!

Rimmel Long Lasting Lipstick 128 Starry Eyed
The shade of this lipstick is the perfect one for Autumn and also my favourite lipstick at the moment! It's a dark berry-toned shade and gaahh, I just love it so much! I would have never thought, though, that I can pull of a lipstick like that!
There's going to be a review on this little gem this Friday as well! :-)

The two items that I didn't mention again in here are the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow and the Lash Sensational Mascara, simply because I have talked about them way too many times and I really didn't want to talk about them, again... You already know I love those, anyways!
