Current Beauty Wishlist

By the time this post is published, it's already been almost a whole day since I got two of my wisdom teeth removed. Yesterday I finally went to the dentist and got them out...

But for today's post I thought it was about time for yet another beauty wishlist! This time there are highstreet as well as highend products included.

So first up there's the NARS Blush in 'Orgasm'. Some beauty items just have really weird names, don't they? haha But yeah, lots of bloggers and beauty gurus on YouTube have been talking about this since what seems like forever and I would really like to give it a try as well!

Next up on the list there are the Eylure Enchanted Lashes in 'Adored'. I've really been into trying false eyelashes recently and the Red Cherry lashes seem perfect for beginners like me as well as these! Maybe I'll give the Eylure ones a go and order them soon!

Sadly, we don't have Bourjois here in Germany because otherwise my Bourjois wishlist would have to be an extra post! haha :-P
But on this wishlist I only want to mention the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer in the shade 01 Ivory.

Due to my incredible laziness when it comes to doing my nails I hope to order the Elegant Touch Totally Bare Nails in 006 Short Stiletto very soon. I've heard Zoe talking about this in many of her videos and so I thought I should give them a try as well...!

Now on to the more pricier part of this list, starting with two products from Charlotte Tilbury. First, there is the Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette, second is the Luxury Eye Shadow Palette in 'Golden Goddess'. I don't have to say more to these two palettes, I believe. They're just beautiful and definitely worth a try!

The second to last items on my wishlist are the Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette and the Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette, from Tarte, obviously. Both of them are just gorgeous and the all the shades are right up my street!

And last but not least, there's a lipstick on this list... And it's a MAC one. You may or may not know that I'm more a girl of nudes or more decent lipstick shades so 'Whirl' seems perfect for me! It's a little darker than the shade I would usually go for but I've swatched this several times at the MAC counter and I just love it!

What are you currently lusting over when it comes to beauty bits and pieces? Let me know in the comments down below!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara

For me, a makeup look is only perfect when I have the right mascara applied and yes, I would definitely say that mascaras are the most important pieces in my makeup collection!
Lately, I've been using the Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara and I was a little sceptical at first because I've used the 'normal' Lash Sensational mascara before and I loved it! So I was wondering what's different about this new one.

As you can tell the packaging and the name are the first differences you see between these two. However, the next thing you can see is the wand. It's completely different to the one in the other version. This is more tapered while the 'normal' one was a lot more curved.

To be honest, I really really love this mascara and I never thought that it would be this good! Like, I was actually impressed with how it lengthens my lashes, which makes my eyes look even bigger and I like that! haha

Above you can see the before and after photos (lashes with and without mascara) and I think they show the difference very well.

I can only recommend this to everyone who's looking for a great allrounder when it comes to mascaras! However, I would not recommend this to you if you don't like the spider legs it creates. I do like that to some extent but I always brush through them with a separate brush so it doesn't look that 'spidery', if you know what I'm trying to say! hahah :-P

Have you tried this new mascara yet? I would love to know what you think about this one!

5 Things: What Blogging Has Taught Me

It's been a while - again! This time, I actually had a bloggers' block, there were literally no ideas or texts whatsoever in my head and I felt quite discouraged with my blog.
Now, however, I hope that this writers' block is gone for good and I can go back to what I love - blogging!

In today's post I will actually talk about a couple of things that blogging has taught me throughout the last one and a half years - that's how long I've been at it, can't believe time has gone by so quickly!

I really don't know why I used these exact photos, though, I just like them a lot and blogging has actually made me become a lot more confident and that's probably the reason why I managed to make myself look somewhat presentable in public - and therefore find a boyfriend haha
I'm the happiest person right now - of course there are ups and downs but I feel like we're going to manage everything together perfectly ♥

Blogging has taught me a lot; especially when it comes to myself and the way I look at life in general. Of course it has taught me lots of technical stuff as well and I've improved my photography and writing skills a little as well, but for the biggest part, it has made me become the woman I am today.

Confidence. Like I already mentioned, blogging definitely boosted my confidence; not much but it did and I'm still working on getting a lot more confident and outgoing!

Freedom. This might sound weird but I feel like having a blog and setting yourself a strict schedule that you desperately want to follow but then realising that nobody is pressuring you for doing so but yourself is a big step into realising that you are 'free'. You're able to do whatever you want, whenever you want. It doesn't matter because it's your work and yours only.

Love. The blogging community or the internet community in general is seriously the nicest I've ever been a part of! I'm so glad that I've started my blog and got the chance to 'meet' so many amazing people!

Patience. Your blog won't go from 0 to 100 in a week or two; it takes time, tears and hard work, I tell you! I always thought having a blog or a YouTube channel is easy, but it's really not. I'm currently working on improving my social media performance, including everything from my blog to my Snapchat. And I hope it'll be worth the wait and all the work.

Individualism. It's your blog. It's your way of writing and taking photos. It's your opinion on a particular product or item of clothing. All of your written posts are your own honest opinion and nobody should judge about that. You can do whatever you want, like I said, and don't let anyone judge you by the clothes you're wearing or the interests you have. I know what I'm talking about; people always think it's weird because I like beauty and fashion related topics so much. Like, why would you care? It's none of your business, duh.

These are basically the five most important things that I've learned in one and a half years of being a part of the blogging world. I'm so thankful for all the amazing chances and opportunities during that time and I hope there are many more to come!

Leave your Twitter, Instagram, Blog, etc. links down below! I'd love to get in touch with ya'll! :-)

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Haul

As soon as I heard that Zoe is launching a new range of Zoella Beauty products I knew that I had to order a few of them as soon as they're available on Feelunique. And that's exactly what I did two weeks ago... I was still in school while they launched so I took myself some free time in my English lessons to place a sneaky little order! haha

By the way, the scent of this range is incredible!! I can't even tell you how good this smells! Oh and isn't the packaging of this whole range just so cute as well?!

The first thing I put into the basket was the Double Créme - Body Cream because I also had the body cream from the Tutti Fruity range and really liked it so I thought I would like this one as well :-P

Next up, there is the Bath Latte - Bath & Shower Milk. It makes my skin soo soft and whenever I use this in the shower, I apply the cream afterwards and it's basically the best feeling in the world!

And because I always like a cute little bad for my handbag, I ordered the Life Is Sweet Bag as well. It's the cutest little bag that I've ever seen and it just looks too pretty to put it into my handbag to be honest...

The fourth and last product of my little Zoella Beauty haul is the Fragranced Body Mist. Actually, I've been wanting to try the body mist from the original and the Tutti Fruity range but somehow I never got around to ordering it while shopping on Feelunique. So I was even more excited to finally give this one a try and oh my gosh, it smells amaaazing!

Basically, everything about this range is just perfect; the packaging, the scent, all the different products, etc.

Do you own something from this range yet? And if so, let me know what you think about it! :-)
