πŸŽ„ Winter In Berlin - BLOGMAS DAY 13 πŸŽ„

"Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."
- Peg Bracken

Berlin is one of my favourite places to be but in winter, the city itself is even prettier in my opinion.
I like everything better when it's almost Christmas to be fair, ha! Yasmin and I went out on a little shooting spree the other day, trying to get those typical winter shots for Instagram and the blog but we tried so hard and just failed miserably... Instead, I went for a little walk on my own a day later and got some nature shots to use in this post.

In Berlin, most people are quite rude, selfish and always seem so lonely and I absolutely hate that!! I could name some more negative adjectives to describe most people here in Berlin because this city just seems to be filled with cold-hearted and grumpy people, I tell you! However, in winter and especially before Christmas, those negative traits somehow seem to fade and everything and everyone becomes a bit nicer - not the "Oh I would love to get to know them all!" type of 'nice' but the type where they smile back when you smile at someone or they hold open doors for you, etc.

It's actually terrible to know that here in Berlin people are like that when you know how people are in, for example, London or Edinburgh! That's the main reason why I love both those cities so much! Really wish I could go to one of them before Christmas... That'd be a real dream come true!

So far, though, I have to deal with Berlin and what it's like here...

What's your hometown like in winter? x

πŸŽ„ My Personal Holiday & Christmas Traditions - BLOGMAS DAY 12 πŸŽ„

"I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year."
- Charles Dickens

Although I had been living with my parents for the past 19 years, I somehow came up with my very own personal Holiday and Christmas traditions! I don't know how and when that happened but I love having a little "routine" whenever it comes to the festive season of the year!

The first tradition I can think of is that I always try to put up my Christmas tree a few days after Halloween, just so I have enough time to properly enjoy all the decorations and the tree, of course!

I also love to have a cosy day every Sunday starting at the beginning of November; knit sweater, fuzzy socks, candles, hot chocolate, a film and preferably someone to cuddle, which I currently have to pass on.

At least once or twice I also like to visit a Christmas market, which was quite hard the past years because there weren't that many around but this year I can choose from a lot of Christmas markets here in Berlin!

Christmas jumpers. By now you'll probably have seen a million different styles, colours, patterns and whatnot but since I think, 2014, I've made it my "mission" to get a new christmassy or wintery jumper every year. It's by far my favourite thing to do before Christmas!

My last but by no means least tradition is to hang a mistletoe up over the door. Yes, I also did that when I still lived with my parents but this year I want to continue that tradition and hang one up at my door. Let's see who's going to be the first one... haha

Do you have any personal Holiday or Christmas traditions? x

πŸŽ„ Traditional Christmas Cookies Recipe - BLOGMAS DAY 11 πŸŽ„

"He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree".
- Roy L. Smith

Recently, I've been trying out a few more recipes for baking cookies, cakes, etc. and I've finally found my mum's recipe for the most traditional Christmas cookies, or also called PlΓ€tzchen
We used to bake these every year around the beginning of November and I absolutely loved making a mess in the kitchen, throwing flour and dough basically everywhere. Even the dog would be covered in flour!
I do really miss having my family around every day, especially now that Christmas is fast approaching, so I thought I would share this recipe with you guys and maybe you will get the chance to bake some cookies with your family!

For the cookie dough, you will need...
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

When you've got all the ingredients ready you will have to...
1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and set aside; cream together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, then add the vanilla. Add the flour-baking powder mixture and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
2. Preheat oven to 200°C, then roll out the dough and cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes until edges are barely brown. Let cool before decorating.

Pretty easy, isn't it? But they taste so good! Let me know if you want to try these - I would love to know what you think about them!

πŸŽ„ Gift Guide For Him - BLOGMAS DAY 9 πŸŽ„

"Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful."
- Norman Vincent Peale

In all honesty, I'm the worst when it comes to finding the right present for the males in my life, which are all family members at the moment.
I exactly know what I'm getting my brother, my dad, my uncles and my grandpa and that's a little miracle, ha! Most of the time, I'm clueless about what to get them for different occasions...

I really hope to give you guys some ideas on what to buy as a present or what not to buy.

Clothes & accessories
Many guys actually like being gifted clothes or accessories for Christmas, at least that's what I experienced. Maybe you can get a few ideas of what he would like to get beforehand so you just get that perfect present!

I'm not talking about board games, of course! My brother for example would go crazy for new games for his xBox or his computer or at least a gift card for Steam so he can get a new game himself! So if you know someone who's just as 'crazy', get him a game!

Just like women, men also like to receive a lovely fragrance and there are actually some incredible scents out there! Working in a beauty shop has made me ralise how many amazing products there are, ha!

These can be for anything really - a concert, a sports game, a trip to the cinema, a ballet, etc. Maybe it gives you the chance of spending a day with that person only; you could go to a sports game with your dad or to the movies with your best friend.

You might have realised that I'm really not the best at writing gift guides but I tried my best here!

Do you have any more recommendations? x

πŸŽ„ Christmas Quotes - BLOGMAS DAY 7 πŸŽ„

You may or may not have noticed that I've been putting a Christmas quote before every Blogmas post so far. I also did that last year and some of you told me that they really liked the idea, so I thought that this year I would do a whole Blogmas post dedicated to my favourite Christmas related quotes!

By now, I know most of them by heart because I just love them so much and I can actually relate to all of them, which actually isn't that easy when it comes to quotes on Christmas because a lot are religious, and I'm definitely not a religious person!

So down below I have created a little list (once again) with all of my favourite quotes and sayings on Christmas and the Holiday season!

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

"Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling."

"Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more."

"The magic of Christmas never ends and its greatest of gifts are family and friends."

"Christmas is the season of joy, of holiday greetings exchanged, of gift-giving and of families united."

"The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other."

"Christmas is not so much about opening presents as opening our hearts."

"Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful."

What's your favourite Christmas quote? x

πŸŽ„ Things I Love About Christmas - BLOGMAS DAY 5 πŸŽ„

"At Christmas, all roads lead home."
- Marjorie Holmes

Christmas is by far my most favourite time of the year and there are lots of things I love about it! And because there are so many things I really wanted to write a blog post about it! It should fit in my Blogmas series very well and you should tell me about your favourite things about Christmas as well!

First things first, I love spending time with my family. Not only when Christmas is right around the corner, of course, but this year I really want to cherish every single minute of the time we have together.

The presents are an incredible part of Christmas and I do love that about this time as well, ha! You know you're lying when you tell someone you don't like presents.

Everyone's always happy and the Christmas music gets you in such a good mood as well, I love that so much! Every time I listen to a Christmas song before leaving for the day, I instantly feel better.

Another thing I absolutely love is decorating the house and the tree together with my family. We have so many traditions together and I'm always looking forward to those every single year!

Basically, I love every single thing about Christmas - apart from it being over within just three days but we have to enjoy it while it lasts, right?

πŸŽ„ Holiday Bucket List - BLOGMAS DAY 4 πŸŽ„

"Christmas is the day that holds all time together"
- Alexander Smith

Yes, I'm one to actually write bucket lists and I also try to tick off every single thing on them. Recently, I stumbled upon a list on Pinterest and it's basically everything I want to "achieve" during this year's Holiday season!

When the Holidays are over I want to come back to this post and tick off the things I actually did just to see how much I experienced!

Decorate the tree
Make cinnamon rolls
Light a scented Christmas candle
Decorate a ginger bread house
Sip on hot chocolate
Do a random act of kindness
Watch a Christmas film curled up under a blanket
Bake and decorate cookies
Go for a winter walk
Kiss under the mistletoe
Build a snowman
Go sledding
Wrap Gifts
Cut paper snowflakes
Visit several Christmas markets
Listen to Christmas music all day long and stay in my PJs

I really hope to be able to tick off all of these this year and I'm seriously so freaking excited for the Holiday season!

What does you Holiday bucket list look like? x

πŸŽ„ Winter Makeup Menu - BLOGMAS DAY 3 πŸŽ„

"Christmas, my child, is love in action."
- Dale Evans
In October, I already posted my Autumn Makeup Menu and it was so much fun to write that I also wanted to do a winter one! I think it actually fits very well into my Blogmas series so far.

Compared to my makeup in autumn, I don't use as many different products, but I do try to keep my skin moisturised and hydrated as well anyway.

For my base products I like to use the The Ordinary Serun Foundation and blend that with my Real Techniques Makeup Sponge all over my face. After that I use my trusty MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC15 to cover up the dark circles and the redness on my face.

Contour & Highlight
This month, I have rediscovered the Benefit Hola Lite, which I use to contour and bronze up my face a bit so I don't look as pale. As for my highlight I, of course, use my beloved Mary-Lou Manizer from theBalm - it's SO good!!

The Pro Beauty Prep + Fix Spray from p2 is my favourite fixing spray at the moment. It not only keeps your makeup in place all day long, it also hydrates the skin very well.

The combination of the Benefit Roller Lash and the L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara is seriously incredible! I use the Roller Lash first to separate and lengthen the lashes before going in with the Paradise one to add that extra bit of volume! I've been getting tons of compliments of how amazing my lashes look with this combo!

For my brows, I currently love to use the L'Oreal Brow Pomade from the same range as the mascara! It has a little brush in the top to apply the product with, which I actually use, and my brows look so good with this!

Have you switched up your makeup routine recently? x

πŸŽ„ Gift Guide For Her - BLOGMAS DAY 2 πŸŽ„

"A good conscience is a continual Christmas."
- Benjamin Franklin

I just wrapped the last present for my mum and I really hope that she likes it! This year, it wasn't as easy as last year with getting a present for all the females in my life, ha. And I suppose I'm not the only one who struggled or even still struggles with finding the right present for your best friend, your girlfriend, your mum, your grandma...

So today I have a little gift guide with a few ideas of what to get them this year!

Everyone likes a nice and lovely scent and it's a wonderful present for Christmas as well! If you know the scent preferences of the person you need a present for, you will definitely find the perfect one!

Something rosegold
Sounds a bit weird I know but if you've got a rosegold lover in your family and among your friends, something in their favourite colour will for sure be an incredible present for Christmas!

Well, of course, I had to include the makeup part in here as well... Whether it's a nice lipstick, an eyeshadow palette, their favourite highend mascara; there are so many options to choose from when it comes to makeup - just make sure they don't already own it and they would actually like to get the product!

It's the same with skincare I think. There are so many amazing products out there but it can be quite difficult to choose the right thing so make sure you have enough information about the skin type, skin concerns, etc. to find just the right product!

Gift sets
If you're reading this very last minute, gift sets are always a good option. Many drugstores have these en masse and right before Christmas, they might even give you some good discount codes as well!

No matter if it's a beautiful necklace, a bracelet, a pair of sunglasses or a new brush set, paired with a cleaning mat -  accessories always work! They work especially well as stocking fillers in my opinion, as long as they fit in the stocking, of course, duh!

Well that's everything already that I would put in my Gift Guide For Her this year and I really hope this is useful for some of you!

Have you got all of your Christmas presents yet? x

πŸŽ„ My Advent Calendars - BLOGMAS DAY 1 πŸŽ„

"Christmas will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand."
- Dr. Seuss

Happy 1st of December lovelies! It's finally the first day of Blogmas too and I can't wait for you guys to read my posts this year! This is just so exciting!

The post for the first day of Blogmas this year is going to be the same as last year - my advent calendars. Last year, I had one with different flavours of tea in it and I absolutely loved that one! This year, though, I desperately wanted at least one beauty advent calendar because there are so many incredible ones out there that I just had to get one!
I have five calendars in total this year - three with makeup and beauty products, one with tea again and one from Yankee Candle. There will also be a little video in my Instastory every day from today on where I will be opening the doors on the advent calendars - I hope some of you will actually watch my videos, ha!

Let's start with the tea advent calendar! My mum actually got me this because she just knows how much I love having a cup of tea first thing in the morning. There are 24 different flavours of tea in here and I really can't wait to try all the ones that are in here!

The next one I want to mention is the calendar from Essence, which I really wanted to get last year already but it sold out so incredibly quick that I didn't even get a chance to pick it up! So this year I purchased it the day it was available online! I have actually watched a few unboxing videos before deciding which calendars I would go for this year but I already forgot most of the products that are inside so I'm still really excited!
Then I also got one from Misslyn, which I'm SO excited about and I can't wait to try the products because I've only ever tried one or two products from this brand and they were amazing! Next up, there's Trend It Up, which is a brand I've always wanted to try more of so I thought that an advent calendar from the would be the perfect chance to try their products!

The last one I got is from Yankee Candle and it has 24 different tealights in it, which already smell incredible and I can't wait to light the first one!

I'm so happy that I got so many advent calendars this year and I can't wait to share the contents with you! I hope you're going to enjoy my annual Blogmas series and let me know how you like the posts!

Do you have an advent calendar this year? If so, which one do you have? x

WALTZ 7 Shower Tabs

As someone who doesn't have a bathtub at home, it's really difficult to find products that make the shower a bit more fun.

A while ago I teamed up with WALTZ 7 and they kindly sent me a few of their Shower Tabs! There are three different scents and I can already tell you that I love all of them!

The first one I want to talk about is the Relaxing Lavender one, which is extremely calming and smells amazing!
The second one is the Energizing Mint Shower Tab and it's definitely my favourite! It smells really fresh and I don't know why but it always makes me happier as well!
And the last scent is the Inspiring Lemongrass one. I especially like to use this one in the morning because it's so refreshing and smells wonderful!

The only down part of these tabs is that they're way too big for just one quick shower. I sometimes like to just use half of a tab and put the other one back in the little bag they come in.

So if you're not in the mood for a bath or if you simply don't have a bathtub, these are amazing!

What do you think of these? x

p2 Pro Beauty Collection

The blogging break is officially over again - yay! I hope I won't need another break from it though because whenever I'm on a break there's a huge part of my day missing and it feels so weird!

Anyway - let's talk about the p2 Pro Beauty Collection now, shall we?
When we went to the Beauty Blogger CafΓ© in Berlin last month, p2 was just one of the amazing brands there and they kindly gave us the whole Pro Beauty Collection, which I had wanted to try so bad!

Let's start with the products I don't really like because there are only three that haven't really impressed me.
First up, I just don't like the Perfect Eyes Brightener. I really wanted to like this but I just didn't know how to use it and when I used it, it looked so weird on me. I will definitely give this a few more tries but as for now, I don't like it. The other two products are the Easy Touch-Up Concealer, which is a colour correcting pen for redness and I, again, really wanted to like this but it just seems that my skin type doesn't like the formulation of this product. The last product is the Chroming Highlighter, which I had such high hopes in but it just disappointed me. It looks terrible on my skin tone and I think I'm not the type to wear a chrome highlight.

But now on to the good stuff of this collection! My favourites are definitely the Prep + Fix Spray and the Makeup Base. Both of them make my makeup and my face, in general, look amazing, if I may say so myself. The spray is really fine and doesn't ruin the makeup and the base smoothes the skin and prepares it very well for the makeup.
Then there are the Strobing Wonder, which looks incredible on the skin and is just such a beautiful highlight, the Fix + Matte Loose Powder, which is nothing special but I like it anyway, and last but not least the Perfect Eyes Refine + Prime Eye Base, which is definitely my favourite eye base so far! It has worked some wonders for my eye makeup and I just love it!

And that's it already - the whole of the Pro Beauty collection from p2!

What do you think of this collection? x

New In: IsaDora

A few weeks ago I kindly received a package from IsaDora with a few of their products, which I'm still extremely excited about!

I only really tried the Natural Matt Oil-Free Foundation so far and I absolutely love it! It has a lovely texture and a great coverage! The shade also matches my skintone perfectly!

There are also one of their Wonder Nail Extra Long Lasting Nail Polishes in the shade 772 'Purple Reign' and one of their Color & Gloss Intensifier Top Coat, which I haven't tried yet but I can't wait to do so! I've read quite a few positive reviews on these nail polishes and I can't wait to try them!

The Liquid Lip Chrome is definitely not my shade but the pigmentation and the texture are amazing! Just like the Face Glow Highlighting Wheel, the shades are just not for me and I might do a little giveaway with some of these products!

Last but not least there's the Foundation Color Blender to lighten your foundation and I've been wanting to try something like this for ages! Now I can finally use all my darker foundations without looking too orange!

Again a huge thanks to IsaDora for kindly sending me these goodies and I hope to tell you a bit more about these soon!

What do you think about these new bits from IsaDora? x

My Eyeshadow Palette Collection

This post idea had been on my list for ages and now I finally got the chance to publish it and show my not so small eyeshadow palette collection to you guys!

When I started blogging about makeup I owned maybe one eyeshadow quad from Essence or something because I didn't really get into the whole eyeshadow application thing. But now, applying eyeshadow has become one of my favourite parts of makeup!

Down below I have created a little list with all of my current eyeshadow palettes, quads and travel palettes and I just love every single one of them!

Autumnal Lip Colours

Normally, I'm not much of a lipstick kinda girl but especially in autumn and winter, I do like to get out those seasonal shades! My little collection has grown quite a bit recently and I can't wait to show you guys which products I picked for my autumnal lip colour post!

Rimmel | Lasting Finish Lipstick 128 'Starry Eyed'
The classic. I got this quite some time ago and I still love it! It's definitely my go-to shade for autumn! What I like about this most is the finish and the texture though. It's super creamy and comfortable to wear - love it!

NYX | Soft Matte Lip Cream 'Rome'
One of the newest additions to my makeup collection but also one of my favourites already! Like I said in my recent beauty haul, I had been looking for a shade like this for ages and it's just so pretty!

MAC | 'Sin'
You guys know I have a weakness for MAC lipsticks although my collection is quite small. This one I got for my birthday this year and I  just absolutely love it! I do like to wear it with a gloss on top though because these (dark) matte lipsticks dry out my lips really bad.

Trend It Up | Terra Attitude Lipstick Nr. 29
Not your usual autumnal lip colour but still something very wearable for autumn and winter as well. I never thought that I would wear a shade like this but it actually looks okay on me and the texture of this lipstick is great as well!

p2 | Go With The Flow Matte Lip Cream 020 'Milan'
And last but not least I want to mention the probably darkest lip colour in my colour, which is this lip cream from p2! It's such a rich deep plum shade and I just love that so much! It really is the shade for autumn!

What's your go-to autumnal lip colour? x

The Serum Foundation Battle: Alverde vs. The Ordinary

Left: The Ordinary 1.0N Very Fair Neutral, Right: Alverde Professional Serum Foundation 01 Porcelain
Recently, I placed my very first order on Deciem and got hold of a few The Ordinary products! Since then I've been trying and testing all of the products I got and especially the foundation is something I absolutely love!

But there was also a little highstreet beauty haul here on the blog a couple of weeks ago where I mentioned that I got a foundation from Alverde - which also happens to be a serum foundation.

That said I immediately knew that I wanted to do a little 'battle' again, just like I did with my BB creams a while ago!

So today I'm comparing both the Professional Serum Foundation from Alverde and the Serum Foundation from The Ordinary!

The Ordinary | Serum Foundation
This one I got in the shade 1.0N, which is a perfect match for me! It looks super natural on the skin and blends out very nicely as well - especially with a damp makeup sponge! It also has that handy pump on top, which makes the application a lot easier! However, due to this being a serum foundation it is extremely runny! When I first swatched this it just ran off my hand right away, but once you know that and apply the product to your face quickly, it's not something that bothers me!

Alverde | Professional Serum Foundation
Of course, I got this in the lightest shade, which is 010 Porcelain. This shade is just a bit darker than the one from The Ordinary but it's still a great match! Alverde is also an all natural and cruelty-free makeup brand, which I really like! It's also a bit less liquidy than the one from The Ordinary and has a very decent scent to it but it doesn't bother me at all. The coverage of this is - again, just like with the other one - light to medium but you can build this up quite easily.

Overall I'd say that both foundations are amazing! I don't want to pick a 'winner' in this so it's a draw!

Have you got a favourite serum foundation? x

Gemma Etc.
Last but not least I want to mention Gemma's blog, which is one of the blogs that I have been following since being a part of the blogging world myself. I always go to her blog for reading great reviews on any product that I'm currently interested in or that I just want to read about. Her images are stunning as well!

October Favourites

Another month, another favourites post! Again, I can't believe how quickly this month has passed! But that means that I can finally share my monthly favourites with you guys and that's always something I'm looking forward to at the end of the month!

Throughout the month of October, I've been loving quite a few makeup and skincare bits, that haven't really made an appearance on my blog so far!
First, I want to start with the HypoAllergenic Nude Eyeshadow Quad No. 1*, which I absolutely adore! The eyeshadows are super creamy and easy to blend and the shades are right up my street, as you guys may already know! You can create various different everyday eye makeup looks with this and that's what I love about it!

Next up, there's the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Light 1 'Chantilly'! When I bought this I wasn't too keen on it because I had expected a bit more from it but now I just love it! It's super creamy and blends so very well with my Real Techniques sponge that I want to use it every single day now!

As for mascara, I've been using and loving the new L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara, which so many people rave about and I can only agree to that! It makes my lashes look more voluminous and thick and it lengthens them at the same time, which is always great for a mascara!

The last makeup item I want to talk about is the Benefit Hola Bronzer! I had purchased the Lite version a while back and I like that a lot but I also wanted to try the "original" one so I got the mini version a few weeks ago and I must admit that I like this even better than the Lite one! I just think this is a way better shade for my skintone as it has those cool ashy undertones that I like!

The three skincare products I've been loving this month are the Sothys Gourmand Lip Balm*, which is even better than my trusty Labello and you guys know I love that, the Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream*, which does what it says: it smoothes the skin and the Nivea Micellar Cleansing Wipes, which I only got because they don't have the Neutrogena cleansing wipes at DM so I had to go for another product and I'm glad I did because these are great!

So these are my favourites for the month of October and I can't wait to share my next favourites with you at the end of November!

What have you been loving this month? x

L'Oreal Perfect Match Concealer - Full Review

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a little beauty haul, where I mentioned the new L'Oreal Perfect Match Concealer, which I got in the shade 1.N Ivory - the lightest one, of course - and today I already want to review this lovely product for you guys!

I've always been a little unsure about when to post a review for a product, but since I've been using this every single day so far, I thought it would be a good time to post this now!
Not only has L'Oreal renewed the Perfect Match Foundation a while back, they also came up with the new Perfect Match Concealer! I really loved the former version of the concealer and I currently love the foundation as well, so having a new matching concealer for that is just a little dream come true, to be honest!

First of all, I want to mention the packaging, which is quite simple but somehow I really like that! The shape of the bottle does remind me of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and the Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer a lot but let's talk about what's inside, shall we?

The concealer itself has a very lightweight and liquidy texture but once you blend it out it becomes more creamy and builds up to a medium coverage. It also has that lovely fresh scent to it, just like the foundation.

The only negative thing that I want to mention is that it creases very quickly, especially on the lids, but once I knew that, I always tried to remember to apply a powder or a neutral eyeshadow to my entire lid and that prevented the concealer from creasing!
I really like this concealer and together with the foundation it just makes a great combination!

Have you tried this concealer? x

Halloween Cookies

I finally had the time to do some baking and decided to go for my annual Halloween theme! There were some extremely cute cutters for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc. on eBay and I just had to order them! They weren't expensive either and I think the cookies look way cuter that way!

Because the last cookie dough I tried to mix myself was a complete disaster, I decided to use refrigerated cookie dough that I only had to roll out and cut the cookies from - so much easier!
There were also a few cutters at my parents' house from last year's Halloween that I took with me because they don't use them anyway so I got a few more pumpkins, ghosts and witches!

As for the decoration and the topping I mixed some powdered sugar with hot water to get the icing and then sprinkled some cute Halloween stuff on top that I found at some supermarket recently!
For the smaller cookies, I used coloured icing and just put that in the contours the cutters had left in the dough.

I love to bake all year round but around Halloween and Christmas time I love it even more! I'm not sure why though but it's just so much fun and I love decorating them as well! There will be a few more of these "baking posts" on the blog soon and I really hope you like them!

Have you baked anything recently? x

The Ordinary Haul

The Ordinary is a brand that I had been wanting to try for ages! Especially their foundations had been on my wishlist right from the start!
And because it was Vanessa's birthday a few weeks ago, I thought I'd gift her something that she had also been wanting to try for a really long time, which was the Coverage Foundation!

For myself, I ordered two of their skincare products, which are the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution for Blemish Prone Skin and the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% with High-Strength Vitamin and Mineral Blemish Forumla.

I haven't had the chance to really try these two yet but I'm really looking forward to do so!

As for the makeup part of this haul, I 'only' got the Serum Foundation Lightweight Serum Formula in the shade 1.1 N, which really is just a perfect match for me!

This I have tried already and I'm absolutely smitten! Like I said, the colour is perfect, it's super lightweight and makes the skin look flawless although it only is a serum formula! I'm extremely impressed with this foundation so far!

I will definitely tell you a bit more about these products from The Ordinary!

Have you tried something from The Ordinary yet? x

Beauty Blogger CafΓ© Berlin 2017

Last week, my friend Vanessa from Nessi Cannelle and my cousin Yasmin from Angels Beauty Corner went to the annual Beauty Blogger CafΓ© in Berlin! I went there last year already but for them, it was the very first time, which made everything even more exciting!

The brands this time were p2 Cosmetics, Cattier Paris, Medisana, Swiss Smile, Chris Farrell, Joico, Softwings, Special T and Dyson - we somehow got in touch with every brand and even got their PR contact addresses!

Even a few "famous" German YouTubers were there; well, at least I knew them because I watch them regularly, but that was just so exciting seeing them there!

Again, there were so many lovely girls that I would have loved to talk to but I was too shy... *sigh* It's always the same with me! But this time I was super happy with my outfit, which you can see in the last photo! I love how autumnal and somehow classy it looks and I felt extremely comfortable wearing it as well!

Tomorrow, there's going to be a little "haul" where I'll be showing you all the goodies we got on that special day, so make sure to stick around for a while!

What was the last blogger event you attended? x
