The Serum Foundation Battle: Alverde vs. The Ordinary

Left: The Ordinary 1.0N Very Fair Neutral, Right: Alverde Professional Serum Foundation 01 Porcelain
Recently, I placed my very first order on Deciem and got hold of a few The Ordinary products! Since then I've been trying and testing all of the products I got and especially the foundation is something I absolutely love!

But there was also a little highstreet beauty haul here on the blog a couple of weeks ago where I mentioned that I got a foundation from Alverde - which also happens to be a serum foundation.

That said I immediately knew that I wanted to do a little 'battle' again, just like I did with my BB creams a while ago!

So today I'm comparing both the Professional Serum Foundation from Alverde and the Serum Foundation from The Ordinary!

The Ordinary | Serum Foundation
This one I got in the shade 1.0N, which is a perfect match for me! It looks super natural on the skin and blends out very nicely as well - especially with a damp makeup sponge! It also has that handy pump on top, which makes the application a lot easier! However, due to this being a serum foundation it is extremely runny! When I first swatched this it just ran off my hand right away, but once you know that and apply the product to your face quickly, it's not something that bothers me!

Alverde | Professional Serum Foundation
Of course, I got this in the lightest shade, which is 010 Porcelain. This shade is just a bit darker than the one from The Ordinary but it's still a great match! Alverde is also an all natural and cruelty-free makeup brand, which I really like! It's also a bit less liquidy than the one from The Ordinary and has a very decent scent to it but it doesn't bother me at all. The coverage of this is - again, just like with the other one - light to medium but you can build this up quite easily.

Overall I'd say that both foundations are amazing! I don't want to pick a 'winner' in this so it's a draw!

October Favourites

Another month, another favourites post! Again, I can't believe how quickly this month has passed! But that means that I can finally share my monthly favourites with you guys and that's always something I'm looking forward to at the end of the month!

Throughout the month of October, I've been loving quite a few makeup and skincare bits, that haven't really made an appearance on my blog so far!
First, I want to start with the HypoAllergenic Nude Eyeshadow Quad No. 1*, which I absolutely adore! The eyeshadows are super creamy and easy to blend and the shades are right up my street, as you guys may already know! You can create various different everyday eye makeup looks with this and that's what I love about it!

Next up, there's the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Light 1 'Chantilly'! When I bought this I wasn't too keen on it because I had expected a bit more from it but now I just love it! It's super creamy and blends so very well with my Real Techniques sponge that I want to use it every single day now!

As for mascara, I've been using and loving the new L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara, which so many people rave about and I can only agree to that! It makes my lashes look more voluminous and thick and it lengthens them at the same time, which is always great for a mascara!

The last makeup item I want to talk about is the Benefit Hola Bronzer! I had purchased the Lite version a while back and I like that a lot but I also wanted to try the "original" one so I got the mini version a few weeks ago and I must admit that I like this even better than the Lite one! I just think this is a way better shade for my skintone as it has those cool ashy undertones that I like!

The three skincare products I've been loving this month are the Sothys Gourmand Lip Balm*, which is even better than my trusty Labello and you guys know I love that, the Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream*, which does what it says: it smoothes the skin and the Nivea Micellar Cleansing Wipes, which I only got because they don't have the Neutrogena cleansing wipes at DM so I had to go for another product and I'm glad I did because these are great!

So these are my favourites for the month of October and I can't wait to share my next favourites with you at the end of November!

What have you been loving this month? x

L'Oreal Perfect Match Concealer - Full Review

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a little beauty haul, where I mentioned the new L'Oreal Perfect Match Concealer, which I got in the shade 1.N Ivory - the lightest one, of course - and today I already want to review this lovely product for you guys!

I've always been a little unsure about when to post a review for a product, but since I've been using this every single day so far, I thought it would be a good time to post this now!
Not only has L'Oreal renewed the Perfect Match Foundation a while back, they also came up with the new Perfect Match Concealer! I really loved the former version of the concealer and I currently love the foundation as well, so having a new matching concealer for that is just a little dream come true, to be honest!

First of all, I want to mention the packaging, which is quite simple but somehow I really like that! The shape of the bottle does remind me of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and the Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer a lot but let's talk about what's inside, shall we?

The concealer itself has a very lightweight and liquidy texture but once you blend it out it becomes more creamy and builds up to a medium coverage. It also has that lovely fresh scent to it, just like the foundation.

The only negative thing that I want to mention is that it creases very quickly, especially on the lids, but once I knew that, I always tried to remember to apply a powder or a neutral eyeshadow to my entire lid and that prevented the concealer from creasing!
I really like this concealer and together with the foundation it just makes a great combination!

Have you tried this concealer? x

Halloween Cookies

I finally had the time to do some baking and decided to go for my annual Halloween theme! There were some extremely cute cutters for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc. on eBay and I just had to order them! They weren't expensive either and I think the cookies look way cuter that way!

Because the last cookie dough I tried to mix myself was a complete disaster, I decided to use refrigerated cookie dough that I only had to roll out and cut the cookies from - so much easier!
There were also a few cutters at my parents' house from last year's Halloween that I took with me because they don't use them anyway so I got a few more pumpkins, ghosts and witches!

As for the decoration and the topping I mixed some powdered sugar with hot water to get the icing and then sprinkled some cute Halloween stuff on top that I found at some supermarket recently!
For the smaller cookies, I used coloured icing and just put that in the contours the cutters had left in the dough.

I love to bake all year round but around Halloween and Christmas time I love it even more! I'm not sure why though but it's just so much fun and I love decorating them as well! There will be a few more of these "baking posts" on the blog soon and I really hope you like them!

Have you baked anything recently? x

The Ordinary Haul

The Ordinary is a brand that I had been wanting to try for ages! Especially their foundations had been on my wishlist right from the start!
And because it was Vanessa's birthday a few weeks ago, I thought I'd gift her something that she had also been wanting to try for a really long time, which was the Coverage Foundation!

For myself, I ordered two of their skincare products, which are the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution for Blemish Prone Skin and the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% with High-Strength Vitamin and Mineral Blemish Forumla.

I haven't had the chance to really try these two yet but I'm really looking forward to do so!

As for the makeup part of this haul, I 'only' got the Serum Foundation Lightweight Serum Formula in the shade 1.1 N, which really is just a perfect match for me!

This I have tried already and I'm absolutely smitten! Like I said, the colour is perfect, it's super lightweight and makes the skin look flawless although it only is a serum formula! I'm extremely impressed with this foundation so far!

I will definitely tell you a bit more about these products from The Ordinary!

Have you tried something from The Ordinary yet? x

Beauty Blogger Café Berlin 2017

Last week, my friend Vanessa from Nessi Cannelle and my cousin Yasmin from Angels Beauty Corner went to the annual Beauty Blogger Café in Berlin! I went there last year already but for them, it was the very first time, which made everything even more exciting!

The brands this time were p2 Cosmetics, Cattier Paris, Medisana, Swiss Smile, Chris Farrell, Joico, Softwings, Special T and Dyson - we somehow got in touch with every brand and even got their PR contact addresses!

Even a few "famous" German YouTubers were there; well, at least I knew them because I watch them regularly, but that was just so exciting seeing them there!

Again, there were so many lovely girls that I would have loved to talk to but I was too shy... *sigh* It's always the same with me! But this time I was super happy with my outfit, which you can see in the last photo! I love how autumnal and somehow classy it looks and I felt extremely comfortable wearing it as well!

Tomorrow, there's going to be a little "haul" where I'll be showing you all the goodies we got on that special day, so make sure to stick around for a while!

What was the last blogger event you attended? x

Autumn Makeup Menu

Autumn - my favourite time of the year - is in full swing at the moment, which makes me extremely happy! Not only my skincare routine changes with the new season, but also my makeup routine. Today, I want to share my current top picks when it comes to creating an autumnal makeup look!

For the base of my makeup, I like to use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer in combination with the L'Oreal True Match Foundation in the shade 1.W. This duo does not only look good all day long, it also somehow protects my skin from the colder temperatures.
Afterwards, I always apply my absolute favourite bronzer, which is the Artdeco Bronzing Magnum Powder! There's a post from not long ago where I'm talking about this gem of a bronzer a little more detailed!

My eye makeup basically consists of the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette and the Manhattan Eyemazing Double Effect Eyeshadow & Liner in 'Molten Metal'. These two products are just perfect for autumn and they let you create so many different makeup looks, it's incredible!
The mascara I'm currently using is the HypoAllergenic Long & Volume Mascara*, which really lengthens and separates the lashes!

After having applied all powder products I, of course, use my beloved MAC Fix+ to set everything and it's also an important step in my routine as it gives my skin that extra bit of hydration!

The go-to lipstick for me at the moment is one from SLA Paris and it's the Pro Lipstick in the shade 'Red Passion'*. It's a gorgeous dark red shade that's just so autumnal and it would be perfect for winter/Christmas as well!

I'm not a nail polish girl but sometimes I do like to do my nails and at the moment I love two nail polishes! The first one is from Trend It Up and it's the Terra Attitude Nail Polish in 040 and the other one is the HypoAllergenic Long Lasting Nail Enamel* in the shade 10. The second one is not really an autumnal colour but I really love the shade and the nail polish in general. The one from Trend It Up is a lot more autumnal and that's just my favourite! It lasts very well too and I've been wearing this almost every single day so far!

And that's it - my quite autumnal makeup menu for this year! I do like to stick to this little routine in the morning or whenever I'm getting ready as this is a very simple yet effective look and I can almost always be sure this looks good!

What's your favourite season? x

Fitness Clothing Haul + Try On With Gymshark

Gymshark is a fitness brand that I had kept an eye for a long time because their sportswear is just one of the best and especially their leggings are right up my street!

A few weeks ago, I got in touch with their PR contact and they very kindly sent me a package with loads of their clothing bits! I still can't believe they actually sent me this extremely generous and absolutely incredible package!
I was speechless when I saw the items and that rarely happens!

The first items I want to talk about are four of their leggings, which are the most comfortable and most flattering leggings I have ever worn! I usually wear them in the gym but I also like to wear them around the house or in school because they not only look great but they're just so comfortable!

They also sent me two of their t-shirts, which, again, are incredibly comfortable and I love to wear them outside the gym as well!
  • Women's Apollo Shirt Black - Grey Marl
I think the brand itself is quite cool and they have some amazing pieces on their website! I still can't believe they sent me so much amazing stuff and I'm so thankful, I can't even put it into words! But I do hope you liked this post - maybe there's something you like as well!

3 Primers Worth The Try

Things are a bit different for me at the moment and blogging is the only thing that keeps me sane, to be honest. I'm all over the place with my thoughts and feelings, it's ridiculous! I hope that doesn't last too long...

Anyway, for today's post, I want to talk to you guys about my three most used and most favourite primers! Again, it's in the scheme of "3 ... Worth The Try" because I really like writing these posts and they're a great way to review three products in only one post! The more the better, eh?

But without further ado, let's just start with the products!

Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner | Catrice Cosmetics
You guys know I love me some bits from Catrice Cosmetics and their primer is just one of my favourites from the highstreet. It has an incredibly light texture and feels very silky on the skin; it almost instantly blurs the skin, any fine lines and the pores on my face!
That's just everything a primer needs, in my opinion, and all three primers mentioned actually fulfil these criteria!

Photo Finish Foundation Primer | Smashbox
Probably one of the more popular and more expensive primers in this little product trio but it's just so worth the money and the hype! It does amazing things to my complexion and just like the one from Catrice Cosmetics, it blurs and refines my skin almost perfectly! It also increases the longevity of my makeup and it looks great all day long, which is just the best thing to say about a primer!

Get Picture Ready! Pore Refining Mattifying Primer | Essence
Last but not least I want to mention the - for me - best primer ever! I randomly picked this up a while ago because I had heard some good things about this and just wanted to give it a try myself.
And omg, I'm so glad I picked it up! It not only refines, blurs and makes your skin look flawless, it also moisturises the skin throughout the day! My makeup doesn't even budge the slightest when I have this applied underneath and that's the most impressive thing about it!

That was it already! My top three primers that I highly recommend and I would love to know if you have tried any of these yet and if you like them as well!

What's your favourite primer? x

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

The Caudalie Beauty Elixir had been on my wishlist for ages and a few months ago I finally treated myself to the 30 ml version of it. I ordered it on Feelunique and was so excited when I first got the chance to try it!

Before you use the spray, you have to shake it very well though. The mist isn't the finest either, which makes it quite hard to find the right distance to spray it onto your face.
Apart from the mist, this product is just incredible!

It not only makes you feel better due to its hydrating and refreshing benefits it also makes you look so much more refreshed and awake! You can easily pop this into your handbag as well for quickly using this on the go.

Because this is a toner and a serum all in one it's even more interesting to try, in my opinion. It can be used as a toner, a serum, a quick spritz on the go or even as a setting spray! No matter for which purpose you use this, it's definitely a little treat for your skin!

Overall I'd say that this is by far my most used and most favourite skincare product at the moment because it's an allrounder in my collection! It's perfect for every skin type and have I mentioned the lovely scent yet?!

Have you tried the Beauty Elixir yet? x

Beauty Tools I Use Everyday

It's finally Friday - whoop!

I recently got the chance to work with some amazing beauty brands and I thought I should combine some of those in this one post today!
Because I love makeup and beauty so much - duh - I'm using many tools every single day but these are my current "favourites".

It all starts in the morning with my favourite pair of tweezers - yes that's actually a thing for me, ha! It's from Essence and it's great for getting all those tiny, annoying hairs!
To keep my hair out of my face I like to use the Dr Rimpler headband we got at the Beauty Event in Hanover in August. I had been wanting a headband like this for ages and now that I've got one I can't imagine my daily makeup and skincare routine without it anymore!

After my face is prepped and primed for makeup, I like to use the Basic Beauty Tools Foundation Blenders* to apply my foundation and concealer! Their beauty sponges are great; they're not too hard but not too soft either and I don't have to bathe them to get the results I want to have, which is always a plus when it comes to makeup sponges, in my opinion!
While applying my makeup, I also like to use My Beauty Light*, which always reminds me of a lightsaber from Star Wars! It's incredible though! I put it up on my large mirror, right at the top and I dimmed it to about half of the brightness it can get to - I was almost blinded by how bright this is when I first turned it on!
It gives just the perfect shade of light when doing your makeup and, no kidding, applying makeup is so much easier because you can actually see which parts you missed to blend or where there's still a bit of concealer missing!

Last but not least I want to mention my Magnitone, which I rediscovered a few months ago. I just love this so much and it has definitely become a must in my skincare routine, especially now that it's a bit colder outside!

Also, have you seen the Spongedry* from Basic Beauty Tools yet? Like, how cool is this little thing to hold your makeup sponge?! It's so much more hygienic than putting your sponge down on your table or wherever! Definitely my favourite thing from this brand!

If you want to know a bit more about some of the products that I mentioned don't hesitate to drop me a message!

What are some of the beauty tools you use every day? x

Autumn Decor Inspiration

Many people have already told me that I'm a bit late when it comes to autumn decoration and buying some new bits and bobs but that's just because most German stores already have the Christmas decorations out... Quite annoying if I'm honest.

I don't have as much decor up in my flat as I would like to but I hope there will be more for winter and Christmas!
The things I currently have in my flat are basically all in the images above - and as you can see, it's really not much! haha

My favourite little place though is my shelf with the cute squirrel and my Gryffindor card! I just think it looks so cool and autumnal - love it!
I also absolutely love my fairy lights with all the leaves wrapped around it that's on the side of my bed. It looks really autumnal and would make an amazing background for videos... *hint hint*

If you have any more ideas on how to make your flat look more autumnal without having to buy loads of new stuff please let me know in the comments! I love everything I got but it's just not enough for me, you know? I need moreee!

Do you decorate your flat/room for the different seasons? If so, where do you get your decorations from? x

Mini Beauty Haul

And yet another week has begun... I really can't wait for the Holidays!

With today's post, I have yet another little beauty and makeup haul for you guys! I went shopping with my cousin Yasmin last Saturday and got a few new bits and bobs that I'm really excited about!

The two things I want to mention first are the Nivea Micellar Cleansing Wipes, which I bought because I ran out of my Neutrogena ones, which they sadly don't sell in DM so I went for these - so far I really like them! And the next thing is just this acrylic lipstick holder for six lipstick in total that I bought in DM as well.

Now on to the makeup products! We went to the NYX Store in Berlin and I finally found the Highlight & Contour Pro Singles! I've been dying to try the Highlight & Contour Palette from NYX but I assumed that I wouldn't even use most of the shades so I waited for the singles to come out and now I finally have my shade, which is 'Sienna'!
The other product I got from NYX is the Soft Matte Lip Cream in 'Rome'. I've been on the hunt for a lip shade like this for ages and now I finally found the perfect one!

After the NYX Store, we went back to DM again and treated ourselves to a few more new bits of makeup! I then got the new L'Oreal Perfect Match Concealer in the shade 1.N 'Ivory' and also the new Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara. I'm really excited to try both of these and I can't wait to give you guys a little review on them!
Last but by no means least I got myself a new makeup, which is the Alverde Professional Serum Foundation in the shade 01 'Porcelain'. I swatched this in DM and I was so surprised by the shade, which is perfect for me, and the texture of the foundation! I will definitely review this on the blog very soon as well!

That was everything that I got in this little beauty and makeup haul! Maybe there's the one or other product you would like to try as well!

Have you bought any new makeup bits recently? x

Zoella Beauty Jelly & Gelato

🍁Happy Sunday!🍁

With these products, I think I'm a little late to the party because many people have been reviewing and talking about them for months already!
Of course, I'm talking about the Jelly & Gelato range from Zoella Beauty! I was so excited to get my hands on a few new products of hers and when I saw them in Rossmann I was beyond happy!

I picked up three of her products; the Body Pudding, the Shower Shake and the Cream Scrub! Zoe herself and many other people claimed that this is their favourite scent, however, I'm not the biggest fan, to be honest. I was not blown away by it but I don't hate it either. It's okay but definitely not my favourite; I think my favourite is still the scent from the core collection - I just love that!

The products are amazing as always though! I can look past the scent, which I got used to by now, and enjoy the products! My favourite is the Body Pudding - it has the same little pink beads in it as the Candy Cream Body Lotion from the Tutti Fruity summer collection from 2015 and I loved that! It makes the skin so soft and smooth and I use this almost daily!

Both the Shower Shake and the Cream Scrub are great as well but I'm again not the biggest fan of the Cream Scrub. I love the Shower Shake though - it's a great shower gel and moisturises the skin while showering, which is just amazing!
Because of the creamy consistency of the scrub, I find it quite hard to really get it onto the skin, you know? When I used this for the first time I thought it would be like any other normal scrub but most of the product I tried to apply fell onto the floor of my shower and I was a bit gutted about that.

Overall I like this range but it's not my favourite of hers. I'm really looking forward to trying something from her Christmas range though! Maybe I'll even get my hands on the advent calendar...

Do you like the Zoella Beauty Jelly & Gelato range? x

3 Bronzers Worth The Try

Especially in autumn and winter I like my skin to look a bit more bronzed than during the warmer times of the year just because I feel like it looks better in general and because my skin looks even paler in autumn and winter!
However, while coming up with this post idea and taking the photos for it I realised that I don't even own that many bronzers but the ones that I have are amazing! I really like all of them but there are three bronzers that I would always recommend to anyone looking for a new bronzer!

Artdeco | Bronzing Magnum Powder*
This one I just got recently in one of my Blogger Club Boxes and I instantly fell in love with it! It is a huge bronzer with a mirror inside and it smells amazing as well! The product itself is incredibly buttery and blends beautifully on the skin! I like to apply this with a large fluffy powder brush and it gives a really nice warm and bronzed tone to the skin!

Makeup Revolution | Renaissance Glow
Next up there is a face duo from MUR and the product inside is not actually a bronzer but a contour powder. However, I like to use this as a bronzer as well! It's a bit ashier than the one from Artdeco but with my pale skin it almost looks like a bronzing powder!

Benefit | Hoola Lite
And last but not least I want to mention a staple item in my collection. When I first started blogging about makeup and beauty I wanted to get my hands on the original Hoola Bronzer but when I saw they had brought out a lite version I knew I had to get this one instead! You have to be quite careful though because you can easily overdo it with this product! It's more on the orange side of bronzers but I don't mind that at all - I just have to blend it very well!

These three are the only bronzers in my collection at the moment and I hope to get some more anytime soon! I've gotten into bronzing a lore more recently so I'm now on the hunt for a few more products to tr! Leave you recommendations down below if you have any!

What's your favourite bronzer? x

Life is just so much better with WiFi, I tell you! Now I can finally write and publish all the posts that I had planned for so long!

For today's post though I just want to list down some motivational and inspirational quotes to live by! I just love some beautiful quotes and I want to share my favourites with you today!

"She believed she could so she did"

"Do more of what makes you happy"

"If you can dream it, you can do it"

"Just say yes"

"Be the best version of you"

"Kindness is free. Sprinkle that stuff everywhere"

"If we're growing, we're always going to be out of our comfort zone."

"We must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."

"A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms."

There are plenty more quotes that I really like but at the moment, these are the ones that describe me the best, in my opinion. I also really want to print some of them and hang them up on my wall just to have them around me everyday!

What's one of your favourite quotes? x

Blogger Club September Unboxing

Normally, I don't post an unboxing when I receive my monthly Blogger Club Box but this time I thought I should do one because I do mention most of the products in my posts but I never properly "introduce" them to you. And that's basically how I came up with today's post!

It's my September box and every month I can pick six new products from the cooperating brands that they have on the website. This month I picked some more autumnal products that I have wanted to try ever since I first saw them on the website!

Sometimes it's quite hard to get your hands on the one or other products because it's so popular amongst bloggers in the Blogger Club that you have to wait a couple weeks or even months to be able to make it part of your box!

This time though I got everything I wanted to try and present to you and I'm really happy with my little selection! But let's just go through all the products in detail now, shall we?

The first product or product set I want to mention is my second Sothy Box. It's the Autumn Edition and after I had tried the Summer Edition a few months ago, I was really excited to see that they have an autumn one as well! There are six different products in this box: Delicious Scrub Cinnamon and Ginger Escape, Velvet Effect Rouge Mat Lipstick in 310 'Rose Lepic', Wrinkle-Targeting Comfort Youth Cream, Gourmand Lip Balm, Eye and Lip Make-Up Removing Fluid and Brightening Mask Illuminating / Comfort Action.
Everything in this box is just right up my street and I can't wait to give all of the products a proper try!

Next up there is the Cosnature Pink Pomelo Face Mask, which looks amazing! I really hope the mask itself is pink as well!

The next product is something from El Kadife and it's the Silver Tonic Face & Body Spray. I have heard quite good things about silver tonics and creams and I just wanted to give that a try myself so I can't wait to try this and see what it is like!

Dermalogica is also part of the Blogger Club Box Team and so I decided to go for the Skin Smoothing Cream. It's a great brand and I'm really looking forward to trying this as well!

The last two items are lip products because I'm currently trying to find "the perfect shade" for me. I got a SLA Paris Lipstick in this gorgeous red-brown berry toned shade and a PUPA Milano I'm PUPA Matt Lip Fluid in the shade 012, which is a beautiful rose-nude - I can't wait to try both of those!

Like I already said, I'm extremely happy with my selection of products this month and I can't wait to tell you guys more about each product!

What do you like most from this month's box? x

Evening Skincare Routine

With the colder season in almost full swing I only recently tried to switch up my evening skincare routine a bit but somehow my skin doesn't seem to bother too much about the colder temperatures. At least my face doesn't seem to be affected by that, whereas my body - especially my hands, arms and legs - have gotten extremely dry!

So for my face routine, I normally start off with the Cosnature Lemon-Melissa Cleansing Foam and afterwards, I like to use the Pixi Glow Tonic to make sure my skin also looks a bit glowier in autumn and winter.

After it's all cleansed and toned I love to use my Skin Chemists Advanced Snail Duo Moisturiser. It smells incredible and is just perfect for my skin at the moment!

Then I normally use these golden under eye masks from Grace & Stella, which I absolutely adore! They're very moisturising and refreshing as well!

After my face is ready and well prepared for my night's sleep, I normally continue with my hands. Most of the time, I have had a shower before my skincare routine and that's when my hands are the worst! Sometimes it even hurts because they're so dry, but I'm already used to that by now as this is the case every year... At the moment I like to use the Balea Melon Berry Hand Lotion, which I got in the box from my Highstreet Challenge with my cousin Yasmin a while back! Love it - it smells wonderful and really nourishes and hydrates my hands! I always like to have this around because it's very fast absorbing too so you can quickly put on some of this without worrying that it might leave your hands too greasy!

For my arms and legs, I then use the Zoella Beauty Jelly & Gelato Body Pudding, which is definitely my favourite products from this range! There will be a whole post about the products I got from the Jelly & Gelato collection soon as well so for now, I'll just leave you here saying that this is an incredible body cream/pudding!

That's it already for my current evening skincare routine - I hope you enjoyed reading this post! I'm also trying somehow create more autumnal photos for my upcoming posts and I hope you like that as well!

What's one product in your evening skincare routine that you can't live without? x

Tea Favourites With Cupper Teas

A new month is here and I'm back again as well! I had to take a little unintentional break from blogging the past two weeks because there was and still is no wifi in my new flat and I'm currently sat in Starbucks... haha

Without rambling on any further I want to talk to you guys about my current tea favourites. As autumn is in full swing at the moment, I've cracked open almost every box of tea I own - and trust me, there are many boxes in my cupboard! I love to drink a different flavour every time I go for a cup of tea, just to mix things up a bit.

I have very kindly been sent some Cupper Teas and of course, I already had a few of their teas before but now that I drink a few cups of tea every day, this gift really comes in handy!

Zen Balance*, Sweet Dreams*, Be Happy* and My Time* are the four ones I received and I immediately found a new favourite!
At Starbucks, my favourite drink to go for is the Chai Tea Latte and My Time tastes almost exactly like that! I like to add some sugar and it's the perfect drink to have in the morning, at work, for dinner - for any time of the day basically!

However, for my going-to-bed-tea, I like to have a cup of Sweet Dreams. It's a lovely mixture of lavender, chamomile and lemon melissa, which really calms me down and also makes me quite sleepy and ready for bed!

One of the teas from Cupper I already owned before is the Green Tea Lemon & Ginger, which I discovered a while back and fell in love with right from the first cup! To me, tea is something very "important" as it gives me that special feeling of calmness and that's exactly what this tea tastes like.

This may sound extremely weird to some of you who just drink tea because it tastes nice but like I said, to me tea has become a big part of my daily diet. Even when I'm feeling a bit uneasy, nervous or anxious, I have a cup of tea and I almost instantly feel a little better.

Lastly, I really want to thank Cupper for sending me a few of their teas! Thanks guys! I'm now better prepared for autumn and winter than ever!

What do you like more: coffee or tea? x
