New Year's Resolutions

I can't quite believe that 2017 is almost over... This year was... interesting, to say the least, ha! But because of that I just want to give everything I can to make 2018 as amazing and memorable as possible!

Actually, I don't have many resolutions for the next year - I just want to be happy, that's all. And of course, I want my family to be happy and healthy as well! But down below, I have written down my four most important resolutions for the new year!

Be happy
As simple as it may sound, it's really not. I don't want to start moaning about anything whatsoever but I think I do deserve to stay as happy as I am at the moment. Changing my job was definitely the start of something new and amazing in my life and I can't wait to continue writing this new chapter.
Wow, that was deep... haha

Actually get in shape
The most "popular" resolution for the new year I guess! But next year I really want to and need to get in shape. Not only for summer but because I want to feel more confident and happy with my body so I decided to stick to my plan of getting fit in 2018 as well!

Not give a damn about other people's opinions
Again, sounds simple but it's not. There are people out there whose opinions matter a lot more to me than others but I just want to start doing what I want to and what I think is best for me.

Enjoy the little things
I have never really appreciated the small things in life but I really want to change that and start enjoying everything a bit more! Definitely something I need to work on but I'm quite optimistic for the new year!

2018 is going to be my year and I'm so stoked for a fresh new start!

What are your resolutions for 2018? x

L'Oreal Paradise Mascara & Brow Pomade Review

This post does come a little late, doesn't it? There was quite the hype about the L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara when it came out and I do understand the hype all too well!

When I discovered the mascara in the local shop, I was beyond excited that they finally started selling it - so it made its way into my basket immediately. But then I also saw that there's a brow pomade, which, obviously, also landed in my basket. I somehow waited a few days before I actually started using them - don't ask me why though I wish I had discovered and tested them earlier!

The Lash Paradise Mascara is supposed to be a less expensive alternative for the all too famous Better Than Sex Mascara from Too Faced. When I heard that for the first time, I was sure I had to get this because the results of the BTS Mascara had always stunned me!

But let's start with the packaging... It's gorgeous, isn't it? The European version looks different to the US one and also has another name but the product is the same - thank heavens! I've also noticed that the longer you use the product, the harder it gets to unscrew the lid and get the wand out. Maybe it's just mine though but I thought I should mention that in here as well!

The wand of this mascara is quite big and the bristles are very close together, which is the reason it gives such volume to the lashes. It grips each individual lash and coats them with the product. I've been extremely impressed with this and still am, of course, and it's definitely up there with my all-time fave, the Lash Sensational from Maybelline!

Now on to the Paradise Brow Pomade! Just like the mascara, this brow product has a gorgeous packaging! This even comes with a little brush applicator that I do actually use to apply the pomade because it just picks up the perfect amount of product to fill in your brows with! But of course, you can use any other applicator or brush with this; it's incredibly smooth and creamy but still has an amazing texture for applying it correctly. I really hope this makes sense... haha

There are five shades available and I went for 104 Brunette. It's actually not that dark and I like it a lot better than the darker shades they have - just because I like to fill in my brows with a lighter shade rather than going for a dark brown that matches my actual hair colour. This shade also has some ashy pigments in it, which makes it even better as it is not as warm and red-toned as some other brow products may be.

As you can tell, these two are very much liked and I'm beyond glad that I picked them up back then! Yes, I am a little late to the party but better late than never, right?

Have you tried the mascara and/or the brow pomade? x

December Favourites

Phew, I can't believe it's the last favourites post of the year! This month it was quite hard to pick my favourites because I have been loving a lot. But I then eventually picked my top products from this month!

The first thing I want to mention is a brush from Sigma and it's the Large Angled Contour Brush. I love to use it for applying another favourite, which is the Benefit Hoola Lite. Together, these two make an incredible combo and I'm so glad I finally found something to bronze up my face a bit that doesn't make me look too orange!

My next favourite is a little miniature, the Moisture Surge Thirst Relief from Clinique, which my friend Vanessa raved about a few months ago and when I saw this cute little mini I really wanted to give it a try. Turns out, I absolutely love it!

As for eyeshadow palettes, I've been loving two ones: the BH Cosmetics x Mrs Bella Eyeshadow Palette, which I already mentioned here on the blog, and the Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette in 886 Blazing Gold. Yes, you read that right - Dior. At work, we got given a "little" goodie bag for Christmas and it actually included this incredibly gorgeous eyeshadow palette! I instantly fell in love, I tell you!

Another amazing combination that I have come to love throughout December is the Basic Beauty Tools Makeup Sponge and the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream! Both of them have been mentioned on the blog before but this month I used them together for the very first time and I'm still blown away by the flawless results this combo leaves on my skin!

And last but definitely not least, I want to mention my favourite fragrance from this month, which is the new one from Christina Aguilera Definition and, quite random I might add, my first Lilies Beauty sign from Signomatic* - how cool is that?! Still can't believe I actually got the chance to design this! You can create your own right here, it's super easy and trust me, you'll be blown away by the product!

What have you been loving this month? x

Perfume Minis To Try

A few days ago, I uploaded one of the photos from this post to my Instagram and it actually got more engagement than the photos I had uploaded before! Yay! Instagram currently is a real pain in the butt and such small achievement make me really happy!

Anyway, back to the products I wanted to talk about! Since I started working in a beauty shop I got given so many incredible samples and products and I seriously couldn't be any happier about that!
And because perfumes and scents are an essential in our shop, I want to start talking about them a lot more here on the blog too, starting with the J'Adore In Joy from Dior and the La Vie Est Belle L'Γ‰clat from LancΓ΄me today!

Both brands are said to have incredible products - perfumes as well as makeup, of course - and the two scents I got to try from them really are amazing! They're not too heavy and both are right up my street when it comes to scents!
And even as minis (5ml each) they look gorgeous, don't you think?!

For my first "professional" post about perfumes I still decided to look for some help on Fragrantica, just in case, ha!

J'Adore In Joy - fruity-floral with a salty taste
Top notes:
Sea Salt

Middle notes:
Jasmine Sambac

Base notes:

La Vie Est Belle L'Γ‰clat - oriental-floral
Top notes:

Middle notes:
Orange Blossom
White Flowers

Base notes:

I have drastically changed the way I look at perfumes now and how to describe them. It's such an interesting topic and I really want to talk about perfumes and scents a lot more!

What's your favourite scent at the moment? x

Beauty Resolutions For The New Year

This year I don't want to solely do a New Year's Resolutions post but also one where I write down my beauty goals for the new year!
I had planned this for last year's Blogmas series already but somehow I never wrote it in the first place. But this year I managed to actually write and publish it - yay!

Let's just jump straight in, shall we?

See my dermatologist more often
Living in Berlin has many benefits, one of them being the fact that I don't have to worry about where the next dentist, dermatologist, etc. is. I really need to schedule an appoint with my dermatologist for next month so hopefully, he can help me with my Rosacea.

Get more creative with my makeup
I'm bored with using the same neutral/nude shades over and over again, so next year I want to start creating more fun and exciting looks as well as sharing them with you here on the blog!

Buy less, use more
As much as I love the feeling of having just bought new makeup or skincare, I really want to use up many of the products I already own before buying new stuff. This is definitely going to be the toughest thing for me next year, ha!

I don't seem to have as many beauty goals as I expected. Well okay... Leaves me with more time to actually focus on these three next year, doesn't it?

Do you have any specific beauty goals for 2018? x

πŸŽ„ Christmas Jumpers - BLOGMAS DAY 23 πŸŽ„

"Christmas is the day that holds all time together."
- Alexander Smith

In my recent Personal Traditions post, I mentioned that I've been buying Christmas jumpers every year before Christmas. This year, I thought I would do a whole post about all the jumpers that I own (so far)!

So far, I have four jumpers in total and the newest one is also my favourite!

C&A Penguin Jumper

Aldi Winter Pattern Jumper

Forever21 Dog Winter Jumper

Boohoo Reindeer "Merry Christmas" Jumper

These are not many but I really want to continue my little tradition and hope to find many more cute Christmas jumpers over the next years to add to my collection!

Did you buy a new one this year? x

πŸŽ„ 2017 - BLOGMAS DAY 22 πŸŽ„

"Some people are born for Halloween, and some are just counting the days until Christmas."
- Stephen Graham Jones

To be honest, 2017 has been one hell of a year. At the beginning, I thought this was going to be my year but it actually turned out to be one of the worst years I've had so far. This is not going to be the most christmassy posts in this Blogmas series but I just wanted to write down how my 2017 went.

The first few months of the year, actually the first half of the year, went pretty well. I had a lovely birthday, I celebrated Valentine's Day with the "love of my life", we went to London together, I graduated high school and got my A-levels. I started my traineeship in September and really got into everything; living on my own, going to work every day and just living by myself.

Then something in me sparked - and not in a good way. I straight forward came down from my "high" and fell flat on my face, hard. I realised the traineeship with the bank just isn't the right thing for me and I wanted to do something else, my boyfriend broke up with me for his friends and my mental health is in a state worse than ever. I had to take two weeks off and go see my parents because I couldn't handle being all by myself in my flat - although I have a cat now and she keeps me great company, that wasn't enough, I needed someone to talk to.
Of course, my family has been so supportive all this time and I'm so glad they're not mad or disappointed because of my decision to quit the traineeship and start doing something else.

I'm at sea at the moment, primarily because this definitely isn't the way I had planned things to go, especially with my now ex-boyfriend. I just wanted everything to work out perfectly fine with us and with everything in general but I know you can't plan life and everything seems to happen for a reason.

However, to get some good news in here as well, I got the chance to switch my traineeship to a beauty shop in Berlin and it started at the beginning of December. It is, by far, the most amazing thing I've ever done in my life. I've never been happier with a decision and every evening I could cry from happiness because at least this worked out so incredibly well!

Now I just need to get my mental health back on track and find me a new someone to love because I'm lonely af and I hate that...

Well yeah, that's been my 2017 and I can't say I'm happy with how this year developed. I so desperately hope that 2018 is going to be much better...

How's your year been? x

- Pindar

Yes, I was gifted another makeup item for Christmas... And yes, I already love it a lot!

My cousin Yasmin from Angels Beauty Corner got me the Dandelion Twinkle Highlighter from Benefit! When we went shopping a few months ago, I swatched this in the store and I can't even tell you how incredibly fast I fell In love with it!

The packaging is gorgeous, it has such a smooth texture and on the skin, it looks beautiful!

πŸŽ„ Christmas Gifts With Nessi Cannelle - BLOGMAS DAY 20 πŸŽ„

"Love the giver more than the gift."
- Brigham Young

My lovely friend Vanessa from Nessi Cannelle and I already exchanged our Christmas gifts and I can tell you that I'm so in love with this eyeshadow palette that she got me!

A few months ago she already asked me what I would like to get for Christmas and I said the BH Cosmetics x Mrs Bella Eyeshadow Palette - Mrs Bella is a German YouTuber and I really like her! So, as great of a friend she is, she got me that exact palette and I can't even tell you how excited I am when I opened the package it came in!
The palette has 10 eyeshadows and 2 highlighters in total and, aren't the shades just gorgeous?!

As for my gift for her, I got her the BH Cosmetics Take Me Back To Brazil Eyeshadow Palette, which she had wanted ever since she laid her eyes on it in August, I think! I was really happy when I finally saw that it came out in Germany so I instantly got it for her!

Tomorrow, there will be another Christmas Gifts post, this time with my cousin Yasmin from Angels Beauty Corner!

Have you received any Christmas gifts from your friends yet? x

πŸŽ„ Christmas Day Makeup Look - BLOGMAS DAY 19 πŸŽ„

"Christmas is a necessity. There has to be at least one day of the year to remind us that we're here something else besides ourselves."
- Eric Sevareid

As it is Christmas in just less than a week I thought I'd share my potential Christmas Eve/Christmas Day makeup look with you today! Like I already mentioned in some previous posts in this Blogmas series, my family and I do most of the celebrating and gift exchange on the 24th, so it's Christmas Eve, and that's also when I'll put on some festive makeup.

For the base, I picked the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream and the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, just to get that smooth and flawless look - you want to look good on Christmas, eh?
As for bronzer and highlighter, I picked two of my most beloved products of the year - the Mary-Lou Manizer from theBalm and the Hoola Lite from Benefit. I apply both of them to my cheeks and cheekbones and that's it for the base already!

For the eyes, I normally like to keep it very natural and only use some nude and pink tones, which I will continue even for my Christmas look! The Nude Eyeshadow Palette from HypoAllergenic is just perfect for what I want to go for, which is just a darker shade in the crease and a lighter shade on the rest of the lid, maybe with a little sparkle from the Mary-Lou Manizer in the very inner corner of the eye.
To top that off, I apply my beloved Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit and then apply some false lashes. For this look, I picked the Kiss Natural Flourish Blooming Lashes, which look still quite natural but add just that little extra something to the look.

I then just fill in my brows with the L'Oreal Brow Pomade from the Paradise range and apply my Matte Rouge Dior Lipstick in the shade 999 to finish off the look. Of course, I also apply some red nail polish, this time it's the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish in 440 'Dig Fig'.
Last but definitely not least, I spritz on a bit of my favourite perfume at the moment, which is the new Mon Guerlain - I absolutely adore the scent and the bottle! Isn't it just gorgeous? You definitely have to give this a sniff if you get the chance to!

And that's it for my Christmas Eve/Christmas Day makeup look already!

What's your makeup look going to look like? x

πŸŽ„ Christmas Through The Years - BLOGMAS DAY 18 πŸŽ„

"Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love."
- Hamilton Wright Mable

Christmas for me has always been the same for the past 19 years. And I love it. Every year I'm looking forward to Christmas even more because it's the only day of the year where everyone is super happy - we laugh a lot, we eat a lot and oh man, I just love Christmas so much!

Up until I was 11, we always celebrated Christmas either in Berlin with my grandparents (my dad's parents) or with my grandparents in Lower Saxony (my mum's parents), where my parents and my brother currently live.

When we moved away from Berlin we would always stay in Lower Saxony with my grandma and celebrate Christmas there so she wouldn't be so alone. I'd always see my other grandparents a month later when I went to Berlin for my birthday, which I did basically every year.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have always been the same, no matter where we would live or whom we would celebrate with: we always celebrate on Christmas Eve and have a lovely lunch together on Christmas Day.

As you guys can tell, I'm a Christmas person and my family is just as excited about Christmas every year, which makes it even more fun!

How much do you love Christmas? Haha what a question! x

πŸŽ„ Winter In Berlin - BLOGMAS DAY 13 πŸŽ„

"Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."
- Peg Bracken

Berlin is one of my favourite places to be but in winter, the city itself is even prettier in my opinion.
I like everything better when it's almost Christmas to be fair, ha! Yasmin and I went out on a little shooting spree the other day, trying to get those typical winter shots for Instagram and the blog but we tried so hard and just failed miserably... Instead, I went for a little walk on my own a day later and got some nature shots to use in this post.

In Berlin, most people are quite rude, selfish and always seem so lonely and I absolutely hate that!! I could name some more negative adjectives to describe most people here in Berlin because this city just seems to be filled with cold-hearted and grumpy people, I tell you! However, in winter and especially before Christmas, those negative traits somehow seem to fade and everything and everyone becomes a bit nicer - not the "Oh I would love to get to know them all!" type of 'nice' but the type where they smile back when you smile at someone or they hold open doors for you, etc.

It's actually terrible to know that here in Berlin people are like that when you know how people are in, for example, London or Edinburgh! That's the main reason why I love both those cities so much! Really wish I could go to one of them before Christmas... That'd be a real dream come true!

So far, though, I have to deal with Berlin and what it's like here...

What's your hometown like in winter? x

πŸŽ„ My Personal Holiday & Christmas Traditions - BLOGMAS DAY 12 πŸŽ„

"I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year."
- Charles Dickens

Although I had been living with my parents for the past 19 years, I somehow came up with my very own personal Holiday and Christmas traditions! I don't know how and when that happened but I love having a little "routine" whenever it comes to the festive season of the year!

The first tradition I can think of is that I always try to put up my Christmas tree a few days after Halloween, just so I have enough time to properly enjoy all the decorations and the tree, of course!

I also love to have a cosy day every Sunday starting at the beginning of November; knit sweater, fuzzy socks, candles, hot chocolate, a film and preferably someone to cuddle, which I currently have to pass on.

At least once or twice I also like to visit a Christmas market, which was quite hard the past years because there weren't that many around but this year I can choose from a lot of Christmas markets here in Berlin!

Christmas jumpers. By now you'll probably have seen a million different styles, colours, patterns and whatnot but since I think, 2014, I've made it my "mission" to get a new christmassy or wintery jumper every year. It's by far my favourite thing to do before Christmas!

My last but by no means least tradition is to hang a mistletoe up over the door. Yes, I also did that when I still lived with my parents but this year I want to continue that tradition and hang one up at my door. Let's see who's going to be the first one... haha

Do you have any personal Holiday or Christmas traditions? x

πŸŽ„ Traditional Christmas Cookies Recipe - BLOGMAS DAY 11 πŸŽ„

"He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree".
- Roy L. Smith

Recently, I've been trying out a few more recipes for baking cookies, cakes, etc. and I've finally found my mum's recipe for the most traditional Christmas cookies, or also called PlΓ€tzchen
We used to bake these every year around the beginning of November and I absolutely loved making a mess in the kitchen, throwing flour and dough basically everywhere. Even the dog would be covered in flour!
I do really miss having my family around every day, especially now that Christmas is fast approaching, so I thought I would share this recipe with you guys and maybe you will get the chance to bake some cookies with your family!

For the cookie dough, you will need...
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

When you've got all the ingredients ready you will have to...
1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and set aside; cream together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, then add the vanilla. Add the flour-baking powder mixture and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
2. Preheat oven to 200°C, then roll out the dough and cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes until edges are barely brown. Let cool before decorating.

Pretty easy, isn't it? But they taste so good! Let me know if you want to try these - I would love to know what you think about them!

Do you have a "traditional" Christmas recipe? x

πŸŽ„ Gift Guide For Him - BLOGMAS DAY 9 πŸŽ„

"Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful."
- Norman Vincent Peale

In all honesty, I'm the worst when it comes to finding the right present for the males in my life, which are all family members at the moment.
I exactly know what I'm getting my brother, my dad, my uncles and my grandpa and that's a little miracle, ha! Most of the time, I'm clueless about what to get them for different occasions...

I really hope to give you guys some ideas on what to buy as a present or what not to buy.

Clothes & accessories
Many guys actually like being gifted clothes or accessories for Christmas, at least that's what I experienced. Maybe you can get a few ideas of what he would like to get beforehand so you just get that perfect present!

I'm not talking about board games, of course! My brother for example would go crazy for new games for his xBox or his computer or at least a gift card for Steam so he can get a new game himself! So if you know someone who's just as 'crazy', get him a game!

Just like women, men also like to receive a lovely fragrance and there are actually some incredible scents out there! Working in a beauty shop has made me ralise how many amazing products there are, ha!

These can be for anything really - a concert, a sports game, a trip to the cinema, a ballet, etc. Maybe it gives you the chance of spending a day with that person only; you could go to a sports game with your dad or to the movies with your best friend.

You might have realised that I'm really not the best at writing gift guides but I tried my best here!

Do you have any more recommendations? x

πŸŽ„ Christmas Quotes - BLOGMAS DAY 7 πŸŽ„

You may or may not have noticed that I've been putting a Christmas quote before every Blogmas post so far. I also did that last year and some of you told me that they really liked the idea, so I thought that this year I would do a whole Blogmas post dedicated to my favourite Christmas related quotes!

By now, I know most of them by heart because I just love them so much and I can actually relate to all of them, which actually isn't that easy when it comes to quotes on Christmas because a lot are religious, and I'm definitely not a religious person!

So down below I have created a little list (once again) with all of my favourite quotes and sayings on Christmas and the Holiday season!

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

"Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling."

"Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more."

"The magic of Christmas never ends and its greatest of gifts are family and friends."

"Christmas is the season of joy, of holiday greetings exchanged, of gift-giving and of families united."

"The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other."

"Christmas is not so much about opening presents as opening our hearts."

"Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful."

What's your favourite Christmas quote? x

πŸŽ„ Christmas Playlist - BLOGMAS DAY 6 πŸŽ„

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."
- Will Ferrell, "Elf"

Of course there has to be a Christmas playlist in my annual Blogmas series! I come to love to many different Christmas songs each year that I just have to share my updated playlist with you guys!

πŸŽ„ Things I Love About Christmas - BLOGMAS DAY 5 πŸŽ„

"At Christmas, all roads lead home."
- Marjorie Holmes

Christmas is by far my most favourite time of the year and there are lots of things I love about it! And because there are so many things I really wanted to write a blog post about it! It should fit in my Blogmas series very well and you should tell me about your favourite things about Christmas as well!

First things first, I love spending time with my family. Not only when Christmas is right around the corner, of course, but this year I really want to cherish every single minute of the time we have together.

The presents are an incredible part of Christmas and I do love that about this time as well, ha! You know you're lying when you tell someone you don't like presents.

Everyone's always happy and the Christmas music gets you in such a good mood as well, I love that so much! Every time I listen to a Christmas song before leaving for the day, I instantly feel better.

Another thing I absolutely love is decorating the house and the tree together with my family. We have so many traditions together and I'm always looking forward to those every single year!

Basically, I love every single thing about Christmas - apart from it being over within just three days but we have to enjoy it while it lasts, right?

What's your favourite thing about Christmas? x

πŸŽ„ Holiday Bucket List - BLOGMAS DAY 4 πŸŽ„

"Christmas is the day that holds all time together"
- Alexander Smith

Yes, I'm one to actually write bucket lists and I also try to tick off every single thing on them. Recently, I stumbled upon a list on Pinterest and it's basically everything I want to "achieve" during this year's Holiday season!

When the Holidays are over I want to come back to this post and tick off the things I actually did just to see how much I experienced!

Decorate the tree
Make cinnamon rolls
Light a scented Christmas candle
Decorate a ginger bread house
Sip on hot chocolate
Do a random act of kindness
Watch a Christmas film curled up under a blanket
Bake and decorate cookies
Go for a winter walk
Kiss under the mistletoe
Build a snowman
Go sledding
Wrap Gifts
Cut paper snowflakes
Visit several Christmas markets
Listen to Christmas music all day long and stay in my PJs

I really hope to be able to tick off all of these this year and I'm seriously so freaking excited for the Holiday season!

What does you Holiday bucket list look like? x

πŸŽ„ Winter Makeup Menu - BLOGMAS DAY 3 πŸŽ„

"Christmas, my child, is love in action."
- Dale Evans
In October, I already posted my Autumn Makeup Menu and it was so much fun to write that I also wanted to do a winter one! I think it actually fits very well into my Blogmas series so far.

Compared to my makeup in autumn, I don't use as many different products, but I do try to keep my skin moisturised and hydrated as well anyway.

For my base products I like to use the The Ordinary Serun Foundation and blend that with my Real Techniques Makeup Sponge all over my face. After that I use my trusty MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC15 to cover up the dark circles and the redness on my face.

Contour & Highlight
This month, I have rediscovered the Benefit Hola Lite, which I use to contour and bronze up my face a bit so I don't look as pale. As for my highlight I, of course, use my beloved Mary-Lou Manizer from theBalm - it's SO good!!

The Pro Beauty Prep + Fix Spray from p2 is my favourite fixing spray at the moment. It not only keeps your makeup in place all day long, it also hydrates the skin very well.

The combination of the Benefit Roller Lash and the L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara is seriously incredible! I use the Roller Lash first to separate and lengthen the lashes before going in with the Paradise one to add that extra bit of volume! I've been getting tons of compliments of how amazing my lashes look with this combo!

For my brows, I currently love to use the L'Oreal Brow Pomade from the same range as the mascara! It has a little brush in the top to apply the product with, which I actually use, and my brows look so good with this!

Have you switched up your makeup routine recently? x

πŸŽ„ Gift Guide For Her - BLOGMAS DAY 2 πŸŽ„

"A good conscience is a continual Christmas."
- Benjamin Franklin

I just wrapped the last present for my mum and I really hope that she likes it! This year, it wasn't as easy as last year with getting a present for all the females in my life, ha. And I suppose I'm not the only one who struggled or even still struggles with finding the right present for your best friend, your girlfriend, your mum, your grandma...

So today I have a little gift guide with a few ideas of what to get them this year!

Everyone likes a nice and lovely scent and it's a wonderful present for Christmas as well! If you know the scent preferences of the person you need a present for, you will definitely find the perfect one!

Something rosegold
Sounds a bit weird I know but if you've got a rosegold lover in your family and among your friends, something in their favourite colour will for sure be an incredible present for Christmas!

Well, of course, I had to include the makeup part in here as well... Whether it's a nice lipstick, an eyeshadow palette, their favourite highend mascara; there are so many options to choose from when it comes to makeup - just make sure they don't already own it and they would actually like to get the product!

It's the same with skincare I think. There are so many amazing products out there but it can be quite difficult to choose the right thing so make sure you have enough information about the skin type, skin concerns, etc. to find just the right product!

Gift sets
If you're reading this very last minute, gift sets are always a good option. Many drugstores have these en masse and right before Christmas, they might even give you some good discount codes as well!

No matter if it's a beautiful necklace, a bracelet, a pair of sunglasses or a new brush set, paired with a cleaning mat -  accessories always work! They work especially well as stocking fillers in my opinion, as long as they fit in the stocking, of course, duh!

Well that's everything already that I would put in my Gift Guide For Her this year and I really hope this is useful for some of you!

Have you got all of your Christmas presents yet? x

πŸŽ„ My Advent Calendars - BLOGMAS DAY 1 πŸŽ„

"Christmas will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand."
- Dr. Seuss

Happy 1st of December lovelies! It's finally the first day of Blogmas too and I can't wait for you guys to read my posts this year! This is just so exciting!

The post for the first day of Blogmas this year is going to be the same as last year - my advent calendars. Last year, I had one with different flavours of tea in it and I absolutely loved that one! This year, though, I desperately wanted at least one beauty advent calendar because there are so many incredible ones out there that I just had to get one!
I have five calendars in total this year - three with makeup and beauty products, one with tea again and one from Yankee Candle. There will also be a little video in my Instastory every day from today on where I will be opening the doors on the advent calendars - I hope some of you will actually watch my videos, ha!

Let's start with the tea advent calendar! My mum actually got me this because she just knows how much I love having a cup of tea first thing in the morning. There are 24 different flavours of tea in here and I really can't wait to try all the ones that are in here!

The next one I want to mention is the calendar from Essence, which I really wanted to get last year already but it sold out so incredibly quick that I didn't even get a chance to pick it up! So this year I purchased it the day it was available online! I have actually watched a few unboxing videos before deciding which calendars I would go for this year but I already forgot most of the products that are inside so I'm still really excited!
Then I also got one from Misslyn, which I'm SO excited about and I can't wait to try the products because I've only ever tried one or two products from this brand and they were amazing! Next up, there's Trend It Up, which is a brand I've always wanted to try more of so I thought that an advent calendar from the would be the perfect chance to try their products!

The last one I got is from Yankee Candle and it has 24 different tealights in it, which already smell incredible and I can't wait to light the first one!

I'm so happy that I got so many advent calendars this year and I can't wait to share the contents with you! I hope you're going to enjoy my annual Blogmas series and let me know how you like the posts!

Do you have an advent calendar this year? If so, which one do you have? x
